I love the announcer's voice. She's hot.

[zombie-brand-mindblown] When you upvote the reply more than the compliment for the sexy announcer.

If there a new one or do you just like the current?

Sentinos1 votes

No please no replace the current one. She's hot.

Nah m8.

I like the Aurelion Voice from Aram. It sounds very wise and educated

We're planning to. Not certain on exactly which patch though, it's not too large a task but it is behind a number of other pieces of mid-season followup in terms of priority.

Nice, thanks for the update.

To be honest, I didn't even think about the voiceover when I made this thread. I was just thinking about updating the chat box.

RiotMeddler18 votes

Oh, just in case my above post was misleading, chat text changes are what we're planning. Nothing currently planned that I'm aware of for different announcer VO.

I think I was misleading with my reply. A lot of people commenting before you mentioned announcer voices and whatnot, so I was sort of addressing both at once.

Good to know. I think chat is all that's necessary.

IIRC I saw this in 6.10 PBE update. Shouldn't this be arriving Tomorrow?

Bring Gangplank back Rito plz I'll give you all the moneyz!

Can we also get an indicator in detailed match history that would tell which dragons were killed by which team?

Speaking of that, there are more issues with the detailed match history and Spectator mode I would like to address, but this is not the right thread for that.

SAGE: Thank you for the response.

RiotMeddler11 votes

Once the new client's out we'll be able to look at making improvements to things like Match History. At present though it's both work that's difficult to do (the old client's challenging to work with) and work that's would be rendered obsolete fairly soon (updates to the old client won't carry over to the new, so anything we build today in the old client's going to have a very limited lifespan).

Pikmints1 votes

Any chance of us getting a vague window for when that new client will be released? It's been talked about for quite some time now. Around the next season starting, some time around the next class update, soon (tm)?

Sypher The Poro15 votes

This is already on PBE, and will probably be shipped in 6.10.

Kasyrgan3 votes

Or, or,... Now just hear me out on this. It might sound crazy. BUT WAIT! Don't leave. It might be very unconventional but... You could perhaps press Tab? And see which drags a team has killed?

Pls don't crucify me...

It's a QoL change that would just get rid of a step. Not a difficult thing for Rye bread to implement.

Well this is Riot we're talking about

Kasyrgan1 votes

But I think Riot should give people more reasons to look at the Tab Menu on a more frequent basis. If you watch a Pro's stream, they check the Tab Menu all the time. They check the Tab Menu while they're cs'ing.

But in lower ELO you have people build more Armor than MR against a 4 mage team with a normal ADC.

mikemcparty1 votes

Key word, "pro." We are not all professional players. If you are a beginning player, the last thing you need is another menu to worry about on top of cs-ing and map presence. For the new and average player, it would bring clarity to the game to add the types of dragons the other team has killed. I'm all for summoner 13

BatchWizard1 votes

Nice I would have just said the word. I like what you did better though

I like it, but if the enemy team kills the dragon and you didn't know, or didn't even know what type it was, your doin something wrong.

DorkunedAuras2 votes

it's just easier to have that happen.

To be fair, I'm honestly unsure which is cloud or ocean.

Ocean is green and cloud is the one that nobody ever takes

I just take all the dragons, and I'm less excited if I get the cloud one.

Rucion1 votes

the game does say when the dragon is slain even without vision. Dont see how it makes a difference. you can just click on an enemy champ and see which buff they have as well.

They're letting us know a major objective just died without us ever warding it already. Really, they might as well go the full way since they've already fucked up, seeing as they decided that the opposing team should know when the blue/reds will spawn without ever having used a single ward.

JustARivenMain2 votes

Riot likes giving free info out to people, i can't remember what update it was, but If you're invis as someone, Teemo,Shaco, etc. They can easily tell if an ability hit you because they get a notification-type thing around their champ. It use to be you just chuck skill shots and stuff in a direction and hope it kills them. I know i'm scum for playing Teemo but i had a game where i juked the enemy and was hiding in a bush and their sunfire damaged me so they easily found me instantly, you can tell what it is because it's like a big red semi-circle. So playing a invis champ kinda sucks for juking now V.V. Unless you're Shaco really.

Supreme Senpai691 votes

You get gold for hitting a champion with spellthief's as well. Instead of facechecking a bush, you can use a skillshot into it as a support. If you get gold, an enemy is there.

THe damn dragon sign needs some diffrences i cant tell the cloud sign from the water sign to me the water sign should be air

BatchWizard1 votes

RIGHT!!! My buddies main jg so they just know and i'm not in the jg as much since rageblade nerf (RIP btw) so i' a little lost in top and as adc. How am I supposed to know one weird sign from another weird sign?

Supreme Senpai692 votes

Ocean is green, air is blue, earth is brown, fire is red. The signs are confusing but each have their own color. Hope that helps

Sp33d Zer01 votes

The ocean one has a fish tail in the circle.

RiotMeddler5 votes

Let us know if you're still having that issue once 6.10 goes out, it's got some adjustments to the dragon symbols, both on the wall of the pit and on the scoreboard, that should help at least somewhat.

Solidair34 votes

May I ask why air was changed to blue in the first place? I can't imagine the conversation that came up to make that logical.

Awwr yeah, the blue 'air! You gotta have the blue 'air!

RiotMeddler2 votes

At a guess 'sky=blue' was probably the initial thinking, at a point where we hadn't settled on 'Cloud Drake' as a name/theme yet. Not absolutely certain though.

EROTIC RAID BOSS1 votes

well it was originally green and water was blue, but they prob got feedback it was confusing because the actual water dragon is more green while the air one is a blueish white

Solidair31 votes

Which definitely makes sense, don't get me wrong, but I'm hard pressed to think of another game with an element system in which blue doesn't represent water. Air is typically white or green, too, to make matters worse. The PBE changes are appropriate though, and I can settle with that.

a mouse hover text would be nice.

Lintu Puck1 votes

what? can't be bothered to scoot your screen to the dragon pit every now and then to check?

To be honest water and win get people confused? I dunno ;-;

I'm a jungler so it isn't hard for me
