How do you guys feel about Illaoi?

She's really oppressive during the lane phase strong up until about 40 minutes, her tentacles take up so much power consumption imo that it's weakening her other abilities.

Pretty irritating to play against. I personally hate playing against her but I don't think she's unbalanced. In low elos though, she's definitely a little strong considering half of the players there have no idea what to do against her. Lots of them group around her and are surprised when they lose teamfights.

Think something should be done about the recall with e debuff. I've dodged a tentacle, started backing immediately, only to see another tentacle spawning so I kill it, start backing, and the jungler is already top lane so I'm dead and I've lost a wave.

In all seriousness, I don't mind Illaoi all that much, as I try to play hard counters to her (Mobility champions or Nasus) when I am against her.

I don't like laning against her. I also don't like if she has her ult you can't start big team fights.

I enjoy playing against her as support.

Janna, Nautilus, Lulu and Thresh can easily lock her down during teamfights to negate her ultimate.

In low elo if your toplaner feeds her and your adc/mid can't kite her prepare to lose LP. I've started banning her (im usually the JG), because an illaoi lane is a gamble to gank as a melee jungler, especially if your toplaner has already fed her a kill or 2, and so many toplaners have no clue how to lane against her, she punishes other melee champs particularly hard.
