Am I the only one who think Redemption is OP?
Been playing Fill tonight (aka support) and been trying out the new
.
Gotta say this item is straight up busted. It's SO strong and only costs 2100g. And you can use it while dead LOL WHY

Although I think the price is wayyyyy too low for the potency of the active, aside from a slight price increase, I think the item itself is balanced. It creates an area that heals allies and hurts enemies, and since the area is large, it has a large delay to counteract that. I wouldn't argue it's usage while dead is even remotely broken-I don't remember the last time I was dead where using a delayed attack would help; most teamfights are not comprised of people sitting in one spot (albeit the area of effect it has is large).
I wonder how well that would work on Karthus as a last item lol
Yeah, it's broken. The heal needs to be toned down (perhaps add an ap ratio?), the price might need to be bumped up a bit.
the heal is gamebreaking if you manage to heal your entire team
Generalist stats plus a pretty good active all for cheap?
Not surprising that almost every support is rushing it now or else you lose.
not really since it takes 2.5 seconds to activate...
It's still broken. The active area is massive
It's pretty cost efficient. Maybe lower the stats, but leave the active unchanged.
I totally agree on that.
Further more, i think the item is also bad in design, simply because it gives you an ult on a stick which compromizes unique power on champions.
Why need a sora ult if any champ can heal ~500hp on a huge aoe on semi global range, which can be use while dead and also hits any opponents in the aoe for 10% truedamage.
Putting soooooo much power on a active just asks for trouble, and thats imo a concerning trend in support items
That actually goes against the very idea of unique strategic niches that riot is so fond of lately(since S5 that is), as even a engage-cc bot like leona can just buy two items(
) and give your entire team over 1k effective more hp. Now throw in
and
and she aditionally gives alot protections to a single target.
Beeing a protective tank-support is tariks niche, he's the tanky guy with shields, heals and invulnerabillity, but yet any champ can get similar power at protecting allys with all that actives.
