looking for constructive criticism and tips on my team fight phase.

I main ADC, just got through playing my first season of league, ended silver 3ish. My laning phase is ok, not great, but can usually come out ahead on cs and not feed if i fall behind. It seems to be mid-late game where.. I don't know. the best way to say it is "understand" trades. I feel like once there's a mid/top/jg with items they will kill me. Is it just a matter of me positioning around the team? I feel like when I do that I starve gold-wise. Anyway, looking or ways to expand my game and get better any helpful tips on how to be a better mid-late ADC.

Thanks! Meow

As the ADC, it is your job to have the highest damage output on the team (as if you did not know that). During team fights you are tasked with sitting behind the team and wrecking the other team. Unfortunately, this results in you being targeted by the other team and they will try their hardest to bring you down first. As a champ such as Caitlyn who has excellent range it is much easier than a champ like Vayne. Positioning is very important with the latter. Also, if you can get a support who knows what they are doing, it is their job to peel for you and keep you alive, even at the expense of their life.

i would recommend you to watch all (ALL!) videos of this guy. it takes alot of time but every minute of it will teach you more than 10 minutes of playing so just sit through it, MAKE NOTES! and try to realize it all ingame. like, after every video, play one ranked game and try to do what you learned.

you will get better, i promise.

The only advice we can give you without just linking you to tutorial vids or actually watching you play is work on your positioning.

Okay, well i mostly play assassins, but am decent at adc, and I honestly have found one thing that works well for both. Play like a bitch. Let your teammates initiate and take the risks, you get to clean up the mess. Imagine everyone on your team as a meat-shield. Skillshots? let em hit em. CC? Let em soak it up. Your job is to do the damage while not being blown up. The best way to do that is to hide behind everyone and let your team peel for you. If you have trouble getting teams to peel, try an adc with self-peel, like Vayne basically just abuse your range, and try not to die?
