Warlord's Bloodlust and Ability Crits

Is there any reason that champions like Anivia, Karthus, Soraka, etc, cannot use this mastery? I feel like it was a missed opportunity there particularly since the Ferocity options for Mages seem a little inflexible. You could even support this by doing a sweep on what qualifies as an ability crit - e.g. triggering LeBlanc's Sigil of Malice; triggering an empowered Pillar of Flame; triggering Z-Drive and Organic Deconstruction; triggering Heimerdinger's stun; etc.

anivia and karthus are some of the very few casters deathfire touch is actually good on though. seems kindof wasted to go with warlords just for the crit heal. its not like the attack speed is any use to you.

Anivia is better with Thunderlord's, in my opinion, since Q does two instances of damage and E is the third. She doesn't really "poke" so much as performs her combo until you die. Karthus I digress.

its not like any of the Ap masteries are of any use to ap champs either so why not

They could have done it but it wouldn't make sense design-wise and no Mage would want it anyway.

Wouldn't they? I buy Revolver on Annie. 15% effective spellvamp in a Frostbite would be awesome sustain.

Maybe change it to: "Critical strikes versus champions restore health equal to 15% of the damage dealt. If an attack, you gain 15% attack speed; if an ability, you restore 20 mana." to make the design a bit better.
