Item customization
Alright this is a post about a game I just watched that my cousin was playing in. Now before any of you guys start researching me, please ignore the fact that I am currently bronze V and I have been improving been to placements 4 times this season and it's my first rank season, but have been playing for a few years, long story not what this post is about. So the game, here we go, again I'm not a pro but I'm highlighting 3 players choices in their items that to me were just plain retarded. So to start this off!
Zed-Correct me if I'm wrong but Zed is a strong mid lane attack damage pick in bronze league that generally gets his jollys off by acing the carry be that a mage or an adc with his bullshit ult death mark which all but kills you in one hit which him being an assassin, is understandable. Now keep in mind I watch this game I think and I swear I'm pretty sure he actually was trying to win this game. Let's start with his mastery page, he grabbed sorcery over fury not entirely sure why since none of his abilities as far as I know do any type of magic damage, but that's just 1 thing wait till you see his item choices. His first buy is Maw of Malmortius not a bad buy since the entire enemy team was ap other than Udyr, here's their team comp, Teemo top, Fizz mid, Udyr jungle, Sejuani support, Nasus as bot adc????? Yeah cheese I know, not the point. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't YGB his go to first item choice?????? Considering them having 3 tanks but didn't grab one armor penetration item like say blade of draktharr something along those lines be smart, but hey sure let's start with Maw of Malmortius which believe it or not was his best item he had till the end of the game. He then went on to buy a ZZ Rot Portal?????? Wait what? Then follow that up with getting Banner of Command????? Again really????? Your an assassin how you going to do any type of damage with this shit?????? His boots Mercury's Threads, now I'm not sure what his normal boots are but I am pretty sure that getting Boots of Swiftness probably would of been a better choice there, but again I could be wrong. Finally at the end he gets YMG and BoRK his last two items. Needless to say he did shit damage and ultimately fed the shit out of the enemy Fizz.
Leona-Keep in mind they have no adc, yet her first item choice was a frozen heart? Now I know they had a Teemo with Runann's Hurricane, and Udyr with well being Udyr. But how is Frozen Heart going to help your adc get any kills whatsoever against a fucking Nasus? She got a sunfire cape and sold her most useful item to help her adc out which btw was the only one worth a damn this game her adc was Vayne btw, I'll get to her next. Why not Zeke's Harbinger, or any of the items Zed had at first, or here's a thought why the fuck would you sell Mikael's Crucible in this game? Her last item choice.......bloodthirster, wait what Leona is a fucking tank why is she grabbing a bloodthirster? Whatever, now Vayne build made a lot of since your typical BoRK start into phantom dancer.
Vayne-My only issue with her is the lack of any awareness of what her enemy team comp was, so why no Magic Resist Maw of Malmortius, and Banshee's Viel to counter the enemy Fizz which went for 33 kills and get this missed over half his ults with Fizz and he still got 33 kills like really you all fed this crappy fizz 33 kills I wish I faced this Fizz he missed his ult on me as an adc, he's not surviving from making that retarded ass mistake but hey whatever. She had 27 kills, not one defensive item which made her too much of an easy target compared to her team she was a god send like really only person on her team that did really anything. Was sitting on the same items for more than 20 minutes of the game and didn't think about replacing her boots for another item since it is that late in the game, btw 55 minute match that's how bad that Fizz fucking sucked balls. Again 3 tanks, and Teemo and Fizz for damage both ap users to counter this team all you really had to do was build ap and watch them cost themselves the match but again bronze league!!!!!! For 20 minutes she was sitting on SS, Phantom Dancer BotRk, Bloodthirster, Infinity Edge, and Berserker Greaves. Maw of Malmortius would of kept you alive. Rapid Firecannon would of been good so that you could stay out of range of Fizz's ult. Banshee's Veil would of negated Fizz's ultimate way of killing you. So she had options but chose to stick to her cookie cutter build, for people out there yes please use a guide so you don't end up like the idiot Zed, but know when to branch off, know when to switch it up. Know when and who, and how you going to counter this champion, and most importantly make sure the items you are using actually work with your champion, all I can say is this I hate bronze league it's fucking full of idiots and now I completely understand why everyone in the higher leagues simply state if we're bronze we deserve it, but I wish this enemy team was a team I went up against my ass would of had a grand oh time romp stomping the fuck out these 3 idiots lol, I don't normally get to face teams like this, most of the time I'm playing as Ashe and have to constantly watch my back for the fucking assassin that I know is just waiting to make me their next bitch. Just please people look up guides and learn when and how to counter somebody there's a reason why their are so many items, it's simply so you can try to learn how to counter using items instead of just relying on your champion you deem as op today.
