Because solo players would never join DQ to fill the gaps.

And apparently its too much to ask people who want to play as a premade to, you know, actually make a team, while we are promoting teamplay

Yeah that change made no sense. Riot is basically saying, "Low elo players should team up to climb like how LCS players play as teams of 5, but FUCK all you diamond/master players you can't ever practice playing as a team."
