So I just got placed in Silver 5 Flex Rank, but ehm... I'm Platinum3 in DQ? WTF!? No seriously WHAT THE F*CK? What's the thought behind this Riot? Tell me? Worked a whole season to get from Silver 5 to Plat 3 and ironically I get thrown back in it? Why would I even bother playing if I keep getting thrown back into the abyss.
nm10102 votesDid you not read the pop up after you logged in? Flex queue is new mmr (think silver 5ish) so if you went relatively even in placements you would get silver 5. When solo is back out I believe that will use your mmr from Season 6.
Now when the new season starts both will be soft reset and you will have to do placements again.

Basically, there's a soft reset, and you pretty much never start back at where you left off (Last year, I ended Season 5 in Silver, and started in Bronze for Season 6). In regards to this year, Riot specifically said that everyone would be starting even lower than previous years, to compensate for the Rank ladder changes (the splitting the ranks between the remade Dynamic "Flex Que", and the return of Solo/Duo)
IAmWoralo3 votesNo, no it doesn't. You get placed back almost 1 division after your placements, but not from Plat 3 to Silver 5.. That's 2.5 divisions... so basicly gold 3 players will be bronze 5. What are bronze 5 players going to be, Copper 2000?
Also there are going to be 2 placements. Now in the pre season and when the season starts. It feels like ranked is a scam, giving everyone the feeling they are making progress all season and then taking it away. You know you can climb from silver to gold with a 50% winrate. Strange isn't it that you can climb without winning more than you're losing.

Wtf is that all about? Riot sucks. If i was silver 4, and went 6-4 out of the next 10 games, i just may be in silver 3. Riot sucks when it comes to placing people considering where they were a season ago. Yes yes i read their "philosophy" behind it, and it sucks.
Vitamin Putin1 votesI played flex and won 7/10 placements,and i got s3 i honestly expected it since it would be normal to go from gold to silver but then i started winning all my games,12 game win streak.All of a sudden i lose 6 games,mind you only 6,and i get a notification that im silver 4. Then i win my next 3 games and all of a sudden i was in silver 2,now after a 6 game win streak with aprox 90 lp s2,i lose my next games.Instead of getting 0 lp for silver 2 i got bronze 1.Fcking bronze 1,from silver 2 to bronze 1 by only losing 3 games.IDK what this mode is but its stupid and if its a representation of what s7 is then i quit league. PS:Youre not alone all of my plat and dia friends are in silver some even in bronze 5,idk what rito were thinking with this game mode

And just as Riot has always implemented soft resets for equivalent ladders so that the highest ranking players don't end up with the lowest ranking players in unbalanced matches, this year they also implented a soft reset ....one week after implementing a hard reset that already ruined the point of having the second soft reset. But don't worry, even though it seems like all the progress you've gone through has been eliminated, Riot will solve that problem by implementing a soft reset at the beginning of season 7 to erase a deal of your preseason progress

How can I got real bronze 4 ashe in my team and real platinum 5 trindamere in their team?
