So ARURF...

I dare say this is the perfect solution we were all looking for in URF.

I've not had this much fun in URF for a while, and getting to play 6 random champions in 6 games against other players in the same situation was phenomenal.

Good job Rito

(The only possible question I could have is in ARURF are all champions unlocked? Don't know if this was mentioned somewhere or not.)

Have to say, I was thinking the same thing until I played it. URF? Yes! Random? Sure, I guess....trying new things, etc.

After a few games? So done. Not worth it. I'm positive that some champs are banned as a result of Riot trying to "balance" the mode (but isn't that the point of URF; to be slightly unbalanced?), but not once have I gotten a champ I can play well. And for those I can, I can't trade for them, can't reroll them, and if by some MIRACLE that I can play one or try to be decent, the opposing team somehow gets the jackpot with A+ comps and the whole game is a slaughter. And if that isn't good enough, there's still the other 9 players that may AFK, rage, or feed. But being in URF, this all happens in a shorter time frame, so surrenders can't or don't happen and we can't avoid humiliation. In the end, lots of unnecessary anger and an ultimate waste of time.

For those that enjoy this mode, good for you. You're lucky (though it may not last). But I will let this sit untouched. It's not worth the trouble.

"After a few games? So done. Not worth it. I'm positive that some champs are banned as a result of Riot trying to "balance" the mode" I've seen far too many smazm mages to get behind that. Almost every game I've had either a Ziggs, Taliyah or Xerath.

The mechanics are perfect though, there are no mirror matches (90% on that) and you won't see endless trick ponies attempting to play the same damn champion all weekend.

I can only Imagine that you're one of those people who either wants to spam the same 2-3 champions, or is unable to play the majority of the champions.

I dont agree with your statement about the op. I feel the same way as him. Some champs just arent good in urf and thats why there were the same 10-15 champs every game. I liked the random aspect until our team was losing every game because they all got eve, ekko, shaco, fizz, and zed every single game somehow....

I have to agree with NiteStrykr on this one. Regular URF was far more fun overall than ARURF. I'll agree that I enjoy seeing more of a variety of champions played but I've had far too many matches that I want to uninstall this game (or just quit out) at the loading screen before the match even finishes loading. Games where the other team has Fiddle, Veigar, Ahri, Malphite and Elise ALL on the same team are just pure 20 minutes of torture.

I'll be the one to say it's not fun to be permanently stunned for as long as the fight lasts, every fight for 20 minutes. It wasn't as bad when I got to at least pick my champ to have a chance. Or other "fun" matches are against Nid and Jayce when my entire team rolled, and rerolled and rerolled to get melee champs on every roll without poke. Some champs just aren't viable at all in this mode, sorry but playing champions that weren't properly adjusted for URF isn't any fun. Champion abilities that have "cooldowns" that aren't an actual cooldown for example (like Udyr's stun).

All random urf would be okay if there would be some sudo balancing in the background like "oh this team has Nid, so the other team will roll a similar champion that can match up" Or if it's going to be random, let us surrender at 0 seconds after the game has started because sometimes we just know it's a waste of our time.
