@Maple Nectar Nautilus Changes

I feel like the Nautilus Changes are actually nerfs in the grand scheme of things,

Shielding :: 65/70/75/80/85 (+9/11/13/15/17% maxHP) >>> 60/70/80/90/100 (+9/10/11/12/13% maxHP) This is absolutely awful. Duration :: 10 >>> 6 This is good but meaningless. Cooldown :: 18 >>> 12 I feel like this does absolutely nothing. Even if it is an 8 second reduction, Cost :: 80 >>> 60 The mana cost is great, it's a buff

Why?

Shielding: This is a nerf to Nautilus late game, the state in which he has the most HP to benefit him and also the same stage where tanks becomes useless. The thing is, even if the CDR is reduced greatly, it doesn't matter. Nautilus will be dead before a second activation and in-fact he would actually live longer if he had a stronger shield with a longer CDR. A shorter CDR is good for supports because they can multi-task on assisting allies, but Nautilus can't do that nor can he assist allies directly with shorter CDR shields.

The problem isn't that Nautilus needs buffs, the problem is that you have so much damage in the game that as a tank; you literally can't function. True damage is everywhere and critical strikes decimate tanks, you've even allowed ADC's a little bit of a comeback with the item changes. If Nautilus wanted a shorter cooldown, then he'd itemize for CDR . . . but this is another problem.

Tanks don't get CDR.

item 3110 This is a noob trap and EXTREMELY gold inefficient. item 3025 This is Ezreals Item or a Bruisers item, but no Bruisers that I'm aware of take it. item 3075 This is an end game item. You don't finish it until the end of the game after bramble. It also lacks CDR and HP for Nautilus to scale with. item 3143 Still no CDR. It's a good item but lacks CDR for a tank to have. item 3065 10% CDR (This is usually a pick one or the other item with the other MR items.) item 3001 10% CDR (This is usually a pick one or the other item with the other MR items.) item 3194 10% CDR (This is usually a pick one or the other item with the other MR items.) item 3083 10% CDR (This is usually a third item pick and beyond. The issue here is that at this stage to have CDR is meaningless because tanks are being killed off too quickly.)

(20% CDR at the moment with 1 MR item and 1 HP item)

item 3068 Lacks CDR

So the problem isn't the statistics that Nautilus has, in-fact I think touching him in the way that you are will actually harm him. But the issue here is more or less that most of all tank items are below 100% efficiency and they do not have access to non-trap items that provide a tanky appeal. Even if somehow, someway, Nautilus survived his shield being shattered with 45% cdr, he would have to tank for an entire 5.4 seconds. Nautilus would be dead with a second or more to spare if he took the brunt of an enemy force.

I suggest,

W: 25% of Nautilus HP, 20 seconds at all ranks, remove additional damage from W E: Deals double damage to jungle monsters, half of the damage removed, slow is increased, cooldown drastically decreased, resets on enemy hit

I feel like these changes would be more up-to-snuff, as there is a massive window of opportunity for Nautilus to engage and hold out. CDR is heavily restricted for tanks, so why not make CDR more valuable with longer CDR's? It offers healthy gameplay and an actual appearance of being tanky.

If these are the new changes to Naut this sounds bad but i am seeing a good side to this like his sustain, been times were i was always off a sec form my W and end up dieing, duration seems bad but at this point what good comes from these changes that riot implement's on these champions, will this help Naut in his jungle phase, will this also help him in game early game, late game?
