Yeah, you probably didn't expect such an ending to very known pun about , the champion deemed to have literally no counters. Either he turns someone's top lane into living hell, or he will farm lane against , because he is probably the only champion that can't be outharassed by . Or is there somebody else?

I just had a privilage of playing against . He couldn't outtrade me by any means. I went out victorious from any "trade" we had (although I would call those trades mini two-man teamfights, because of how long they sometimes took), and sometimes it resulted in nearly killing him. So, what exactly make Mordekaiser good against Yorick:

1. His shield. It negates a lot of 's damage.
2. Being manaless. 's biggest problem is mana. Mordekaiser has none of it, he can spam his spells endlessly. I was able to burn 's entile mana pool in 2-3 trades.
3. The biggest factor that makes the counter: 's ghouls, for the sake of W heal, are counted as champions. gets full W heal from ghouls! By spamming his abilities, provided me with pretty much free sustain. That's what made me able to outtrade him, by maxing W, my passive shield and W heal made me able to pretty much nullify 's damage, completely burn his mana pool and even be able to pick few kills on him.

So whenever you see someone pick and you happen to own , don't hesitate, pick him and enjoy peacefull top lane which otherwise could have been a living hell for you.
