nunu rework: another champ that has to get stacks?

in the teaser he bites anivias egg. so his q can now hit champions aswell. why do i have the feeling he has to get stacks to do it? maybe because riot loves stacks

He can chomp minions and monsters as normal I'm assuming, but I'm also assuming that to use it on champions, he'll have to get stacks on them. I'm not opposed to this, because Chomp is already very powerful in it's own right, so just flat out being able to use it on champions would be busted.

not up to date on my nunus but I think he already has a stacking mechanic where in which he gets a free cast

2 actually, the free cast one yes, and the Q on monsters giving him a buff stacking itself

I think it might be that the damage scaling is different between monsters/minions and champions.

I don't think he needs stacks, but I think it's definitely not going to do true damage to champions (although I'm waiting for Riot to surprise me by giving Nunu a huge true damage nuke).
