Jhin and not overloaded do not mix. Read his passive Whisper, built in with guaranteed crit long range snare, stupid damage. Not even gonna argue about you with this one if you don't agree.
Aurelion is not overloaded, but he is forced to play around one thing so much and that's what I dislike about certain champions. Jhin is the same, has to play around his Whisper a ton. Like I said, a lot of champions play around their abilities, but some more than others, and the overload/power of the abilities makes them like that. Taliyah, is pretty overloaded on Q, gets MS on worked ground, only shoots one rock. Not worked ground and shoots 5 rocks. Plays around her worked ground.
The champion pool in my opinion was not stagnating that much. They did need reworks, but completely changing their kit and playstyle is not what I had in mind.
Graves can't even be played Bot anymore because he was too broken last time so they nerfed him to oblivion.
Corki also got nerfed into oblivion and is rarely played anymore 46% win rate right now in bot.
Quinn's rework was actually fine to be honest, and I have no problems with that.
Jinx was not close to any ADC at the time since she was the most unique being able to switch how she did damage, but she was overall a better ADC than every other champion because of it.
Caitlyn was pretty much always a siege ADC, but got buffed.
The only thing that you can say really stagnated was Old Graves and Lucian. Lucian was literally a better Graves, but Graves was still unique and an up close burst ADC which made him fun. And possibly Jinx and Kog'maw since Jinx was a better hypercarry than Kog at the time and had more range with AOE shots.
I agree with the ADC rework and it stagnated enough to happen, but I don't agree with the way they went along with it, because I rather have a stagnating champion pool than a champion that gets nerfed into oblivion after trying to make them "unique."
TL;DR: Rather have a stagnating champion pool than a unique champion pool with 2-3 choices to pick for a role.
