Special players who can ban players for extreme misconduct.

I think that riot should give a few players who are generally well behaved the ability to temporarily ban other players who are acting poorly or it would be cool to see players who can send in reports that riot will actually look at. The thing about the current system is not many people actually report or riot just doesn't care about the reports it receives. In school if a kids an ass even once he gets expelled or a talking too, even in a work place the same applies. The thing with league is flammers get away with it when they should be punished mildly or harshly. So I think riot should make a sort of Police squad out of some players in the community who can catch extreme flammers. also by extreme flammers I dont mean " oh my God renekton you are a feeder" I mean "Oh my God renekton you fucking suck go commit suicide your life is worthless" those people i think should get banned. Thoughts?

Stupid idea. Why on earth Riot would give some players privilege over other players. Not to mention you have no guarantee that they will use that power for their own good or for giggles and shits.

Really just need the tribunal back. It's been gone so long I know people who don't even know what it is (was).

Yes, instead of treating everyone equally, let's give Riot's favorites unlimited power over the rest of my team! That's a great idea!

Example Scenario:

Riot's Favorite: "Omg Renekton, I pinged, why didn't you dive that tower with me?" Normal Player: "Because that's a really fucking stupid idea?" Riot's Player: "Muted and enjoy your chat restriction."

inb4: but AFK Farmer, Riot can just have reviews in place to prevent that! If anyone is toxic with their power, Riot will eventually stop them!

Yes, yes indeed, and that is exactly how our chat restriction system works for everyone now! So then, which is worse: give some players an unfair amount of influence on the team with little to no reduced toxicity, OR have the same amount of toxicity while keeping team decision making balanced?

you know tons of other games have this and it works the point is you pick people who wont abuse the power.

This would be interesting to put in. There would have to be a ton of planning for it though. This is pretty much the list of questions that have to be answered first.

How the recruitment process work?

How many people would be on this "police squad"?

How much power would they be given? (full on 1 click and I ban you or just If i report you riot gets a message much quicker)

Should there be any requirements for those players? (ex. have to play a certain number of games per week)

How many players would be given this power?

What system could be implemented to prevent any abuse of power?

Maybe these players could check the chat logs of games they played to see if the other team had a flamer?

I could probably sit here for a few hours thinking of stuff, but you get the point. This would take a long time to implement in a good way, but is definitely something worthy of consideration.

Grab the players with the highest ban-to-report ratio and give them the power to instantly 1-hour ban everyone they report. Do not tell any of these players that they have this power.
