New blackout mechanic on Duskblade will be crap in high elo.

New duskblade has the same problem as old stealth vs Pinks wards => see you lane opponent finished duskblade? drop a trinket ward to proc the passive, and watch your opponent cry, cause his item does jack shit to help his roams. passive even has the same timer as trinket, so if you want you can permanently disable this for your opponent.

IMO this passive can only be used on jungle assassins in current state. at least at high tiers of play.

So you wasted a trinket ward to trigger one of the two abilities of Drakthar. Ok? I'd rather have vision that just trigger their passive. You can see vision disappear, it's not as amazing for roams as you think.

I know that you can already track it by noticing disappearing wards (similar to noticing rek'sai tunnels collapsing on the minimap), but that still requires a large amount of paying attention, and communication from whoever notices it.. Dropping wards on your opponent has no counterplay, and literally ruins the passive. At least with the old true sight it would give you 15g and some xp.

You're the one who titled it "in high elo".

I play in low diamond, and tbh a lot of players their still don't notice that kind of thing, and i don't think any of us notice it EVERY time. Honestly only super high elo players do that kind of thing on a regular basis, like high D1+

Also, as a side note; this doesn't rely on your allies, but is something YOU can do to thwart the passive entirely. While your allies using sudden vision denial to spot him on the map is reliant on your allies. Anything reliant on your allies is BAD.

Just that trinket wards are actually a big deal. If you use the trinket ward to disable the duskblade, then which ward does spot him roaming? Stealthwards are very rare because they have a lowish lifetime and hi cd, which makes them pretty valuable. Throwing em away like that comes at a cost. Pinkwards aren't tied to cds, and 75gold aren't much. Also, you usually gained a kill for it as you only used it when you knew it would be crucial and not as soon as she used W in lane. Tradeing that duskblade passive for an opponents trinked certainly goes in duskblades favour as it offers alot other things aswell. it would be quite a decent item even without the ward detection.

cause you'll be using control wards for that ;) seeing as they are way more reliable, as well as more flexible. Being able to jam enemy wards make them musthaves for vision on important spots.
