When is Graves' "time in the sun" over?
It's been like a year now.
It's been like a year now.
Lee still pretty popular...
He's been there so long we forgot he's there.
ona is the sun, thus the expression 'time under the sun' for other popular junglers
Lee IS the sun apparently.
Every jungler is defined by "What can they do that Lee can't?"
I'd rather Lee Sin be the top pick than Ivern or Shaco, though. We could do worse.
Ivern is pretty good if you already have high damage and a tank.
^ this Lee Sun to this man I couldn't help myself
Lee is popular because he is interesting to play. He is hard to master, and don't you dare tell me that Lee is not that hard to play, but if you do, try to give us replay of you playing him in ranked games.

Feel anyone can do basics with lee with a few games in terms of just lane pressure and non-flashy ults.
hasn't ahri time in the sun been like 5 seasons? Elise has been in the sun for 3 seasons. thresh has been inside the sun since his release. why do we pick and choose?
Ahri hasn't been "in the sun" since 5.2. Since then she's always been in the shade, just out of the sun.
Always A tier, never S.
Edit: You people are always so salty when it comes to this shit.

Which is kinda amazing in a few senses.
It clearly takes a really unusual champion to remain so constant for who knows how long.
Now that i think about it, hasn't she been viable since release with only a few metas being kinda difficult but not impossible?
tbh I think its a testament to how well she's designed overall. Usually when she's S tier, it's because of indirect buffs.
She seems to be the Mario of League. Very all around, Jack of all trades character.

Or just because some of her worse matchups got nerfed or because the meta favours squishy characters x)
...AKA indirect buffs.
...AKA indirect buffs.
Well......a matter of perception, i simply do not like viewing some champs getting nerfed as others getting buffed^^
Indirect buffs in my mind are mainly related to items or simply stats, a longer shot would be the champions played in general AKA the meta.
I don't find ahri annoying. In fact shes balanced with a really fun kit. I don't play her but i think more champions should be balanced like she is, she don't burst people like annie but isnt too weak to get the job done.
Ahri has been a staple pick, and a relatively safe one, since release. Her design is practical and leaves very few weaknesses.
Elise has pretty much lots of tools, making her effective.
Thresh is the Lee Sin of supports.
I dont know why the fuck I just typed this, but there it is I guess.
Since release? No. Since mid season 3? Yes.

because none of the champs you listed are permaban worthy while graves is
is always in the sun
No he isn't, he was nerfed a few patches ago for no reason.
woops, he meant
And then he came back because lol it's fucking Darius he's always broken.
Broken but not thriving in a tank meta whereas he's a tank counter.
it's not a tank meta tho.
Well let me see. ADCs can't hurt top laners until 3-4 items. Maokai and Naut are extremely meta. Fiora is viability competitively.
Sounds like a tank meta in top lane.
the ranged assassin tank jungler
unbalancable without gutting
revert autistic rework

Praise the sun
Once they finally remove the one ability that makes him function so much better than his competition (the knockback on jg creeps). After which he will join
and lie in the gutter for a year or two
none of these champs are bad right now wtf
No but had nerfs stacked on them before the real problem was addressed and therefore were left in an embarrassing state for a good while. The earlier they stop balancing Graves around his ability to permanently kite jungle camps the better.
with that i agree completely god i remember when elise was gutted haha picking her was almost trolling
I had a 70% win rate with her during that time :(
They were among the weakest champions in League during their low points. Hence why you get the term Olaf'd or Elise memes about being as under picked as Galio.
Absolutely. If Twitch can jungle without knockback, so cam Graves.
Swain now has 100% WR in the EU LCS. Got picked by betsy, triple kill and nice KDA prepare for: Swain had his time in the spotlight and "closening the gap between regular and pro play"-nerfs.
Edit: He even won lane against Syndra and rito be like: We know you want to win lane against Syndra but riot doesn't want you to win lane against Syndra.
lol, I keep posting about how he was nerfed when the marksmen update hit live because he was a direct counter to all of the annoying playstyles that were abusing the former keystones XD
the bigger problem now is that swain's ultimate will make him impossible to balance without ridiculous number tweaks
I agree, he counters every assassin and can be the tank you need (as well as the damage!) at any given time. Oh, and he's ranged? Cool story.....
He still loses to Lee Sin
"It's high noon"
The great
of the rift shines his glory on
. His
glows a beautiful golden color as he instantly bursts down town enemy scum in meme nanoseconds.
"How did I do, oh great one?"
"Outstanding for a mere jungle mortal as yourself."
p.s. "meme nanoseconds" was not intentional, but I think I will leave it.
When he gets reworked in season 9.
When dead men stop walking.
when
kicks his ass to the curb for the bum he is.
that's when his 'time in the sun' is over
=D
yes, I went there...so did Graves.
this post was about graves but it got sidetracked to lee sin
[deleted]
Lee Sin stinks late game. Graves has a good early mid and late game. At least if Lee is doing well I know we just have to stall the game out. If Graves gets ahead he continues to be a monster.
till he gets his cigar back. he's pissed now, that's why he is doing this to everyone.
