Zed straight up gutted

While all other assassins got cool changes, mixed of nerfs and buffs, Zed got literally buttfucked.

He lost his 20% extra AD he had as a passive to get 15% of an opponents AD IF he kills them. Because Zed always stacked ad items, this is a nerf in all cases except vs .

Don't even have to mention his Q and E getting their damage reduced, and Zed isn't even strong right now.

I know it's pbe and all, but Zed will need some serious buffs to compensate for this butchery, like doubling the AD on his ult or giving it and/or living shadow a on kill cd reset.

This is good news for zed players, it means you will actually get to play zed now.

considering his bonus ad only started to ramp up after level.... ~14 its an all around hard buff. on all previous levels.

in addition stealing 5% + 15% of an adcs total ad > gaining 20% of whatever bonus ad you've built. adcs naturally build more ad.

in the event of zed building full ad himself he will quickly find himself decked by tanks.

zeds natural pen build is strengthened even further.

the only correct assumption is he does lose out on a maximum AD, we wont be seeing anymore 580 AD zeds, but on the flip side you can rest comfortably with ~~450 and a competent build instead of hydra/ 3 BT's zed never broke 500 with a pen build. you can still compete/break that if you get on the adc.

zeds objective taking has been hurt, but his usefulness has been increased.

and look, shadow duration increased and E is higher at earlier ranks, easier waveclear. with a scaling cooldown, just 3 seconds.... and CDR to top it off....

All pen items gave/give ad, zed builds pen and ad items only (no more botrk).

Adcs build atk speed items, so less ad built than zed.

And it's not 5% + 15% AD, it's a flat 5 ad + 15% of the target's ad.

last i checked this was the build to beat

item 3031 item 3006 item 3085 item 3046 item 3036 item 3139 merc scim replaced for GA/BV as needed.

considering adcs usually finish with ~330 total ad or more if its someone like draven...

(mind you zed steals a portion of their total ad, not just bonus)

even if its just 15%. it still works out to be more than old pen zed. (still not greater than full ad zed, nothing will ever beat that, except maybe hecarim queso)

where old zed would build item 3142 item 3071 item 3036 item 3156 item 3111 item 3147 fill item here. 60, 50, 50, 55, 75, (290) x .2 = 58 bonus ad at level 18

vs 330 x .15 = 49.5 + 5 base = 54.5

its hardly a difference, except zed gets the bonuses before he reaches level 18.

It's actually a buff. His current passive scales with his bonus AD. The new one for his ult scales with the targets Total AD. Total > Bonus.

Didn't see it was total ad, if it's true then it's a neutral change at least as his other skills lost damage.
