Ye , last time I had Tristana mid against Zed , I thought he was trolling but somehow he stomped him and carried the game lmao I was autofilled support in ranked

In theory, this shouldn't be the case because she's a hypercarry who relies on gold advantage to win, whereas mid allows you a level advantage more than a gold advantage, so it favors casters.

In theory, sure.

In practice, she's a hyper carry who relies heavily on her abilities for her 1v1 damage so having a level advantage doesn't hurt her in the slightest. Being a higher level means lower CD on her E and Q, both of which have high CDs early game; the sooner they're maxed the better.

Well, level mostly matters for casters because their spells are designed to get higher base damage with levels, instead of simply CDR. Given that Tristana's spells, outside of W, aren't really the focus of her damage, it's a little weird. She's still reliant on items to buff her AD and crit chance to deal significant amounts of damage with her autos. However, I guess since she's going to be against mostly squishies in mid lane, it doesn't matter a huge deal that her autos aren't up to par.

uh... do you play Tristana? Q and E are both sources of damage for her, as well as her ult. W is the least likely to provide damage as, sure, in a 1v1 laning sense it can do damage but if you're using it to land on people, its for the slow. Not the damage.

Q literally gives her a huge AS steroid which means she gets more AA's out. Early game, at early levels, a lot of trades are just AA trades and if you can get more of them out than your enemy, you're likely going to win. This isn't even touch on the fact that her E is a huge burst of damage and pairs very well with her Q. E-W-QAA-AA is a massive amount of damage and being able to do this combo more often is really good for her.

Anyone who honestly believes that Tristana's only damage is AA's clearly hasn't got a clue how the champion works. Here, why don't you go and play a game of Tristana without using her Q or E and let me know how that goes for you.
