you think sona has the mana to heal what lulu can do? i'm surprised by the fact that you think this considering the mana cost of sona's W and the base heal
and autoattack? or is it bronze when people don't use them?
Sona outranges Lulu unless she burns mana to send Q from a minion.
it doesn't matter, once you hit the slow if your adc follows it's the easiest 2v2 ever as sona is pure garbage in lane due to her numbers she also has 325 base ms
Alright I'm gonna bring in some math. For this math I'm gonna assume both Lulu and Sona are level 5, and since from what I'm hearing all of the Lulus being picked are maxing E first I'll take that into account.
Now, for a trade involving Lulu using E against Sona this requires Lulu to have gone well within Sona's Q range.
Sona takes 140 damage from Lulu's E while Lulu takes 100 damage from Sona's Q. Sona can then use W to heal 35 of that damage as well as shield 30 damage against Lulu's upcoming Q.
This results in Lulu doing 155 damage while potentially doing 80 damage to her ADC with Q while Sona returns 100 damage and gives her ADC a 40 damage buff and 65 HP worth of heals/shields, while also potentially hitting Lulu's ADC for 100 with the split of her Q. This trade is perfectly even on mana costs with both supports spending 135 mana.
Now we also have to take into account that because Sona's Q outranges Lulu's E Sona can more easily poke Lulu for free. If Lulu chooses to shield against this harass she will be expending more mana than Sona 80 to 55.
Now since you mentioned Lulu's auto attack you would be talking about a full on trade.
Sona would do 100 damage with her Q (200 if it also hits Lulu's ADC), and additional 40 with her Q passive (80 if her ADC gets in on it) and 49 damage with her powercord. Lulu would do 140 damage with her E which will be substracted by 35 from Sona's heal while also healing 35 from whatever damage her ADC may have taken from then. She will also mitigate 30 damage from Lulu's future Q while also shielding her ADC from 30 future damage. Lulu will deal 27 damage per auto attack assuming the bolts don't get blocked by minions.
Ultimately this adds up to Lulu doing 155 damage total from E-Q (205 if her Q hits Sona's ADC) while Sona brings out 100 damage from her Q (200 if it also hits Lulu's ADC) with 80 additional damage from her Q passive and 49 damage from power chord, adding up to 229 (329) contributed damage.
In the most ideal scenario for both supports it would take Lulu roughly 5 unblocked auto attacks to match Sona's trade.
