Oh Trynda is unfun to play against all he does is rightclick.
funny eh?
/not april fools.

Looks like a bunch of characters with weak early/mid games and a lack of invulnerability
weak? maybe Kalista is weak. Non of the others are weak you have no idea what a weak champ is. Just because you season 5 players think not beeing able to solokill people early is beeing weak that doesnt mean you are right.

Seems like somebody forgot the whole "adc in 2017" craze from a few months ago where the entire role was considered weak, nevermind subpar picks like kalista.
Even if you consider them strong it doesnt invalidate my point. People find tryndamere frustrating because with the power of his right clicks he can out trade even archetypical strong laners based purely off RNG and its not like it stops there, he scales just as hard as those carries who for thirty minutes(and often beyond) require constant babysitting and are completely at the mercy of whoever happens to jump on them and whether or not their support is fast enough but unlike adc's he cant be bursted thanks to his invulnerability.
If you gave literally any one of those right click carries 35% crit chance for a passive and invulnerability for an ulti they would be absolutely mental and the forums would riot, not to mention they would be completely overpowered(mostly because theyre ranged characters) but tryndamere being melee doesnt make him any more fun to play against surprisingly.
This is all compounded that by virtue of his ultimate making his optimal play style to run down top lane over and over hitting towers until he wins. Unsurprisingly no other character(barring kayle who isnt as good at it since shes on hit rather than AD) can replicate this and doesnt produce as much frustration. I shouldnt have to mention that people find this frustrating.

singed has a pretty similar playstyle and it's frustrating too.
you can build full crit on kayle for the same effect. i recommend trying it at least once, it's quite fun

Singed is vaguely similar in that its the "tryndamere effect" in slow motion.
Singed will stay in your base, cutting minion waves and letting his zz'rot chew your tower down over 60 seconds. Tryndamere will run down his lane and obliterate any unattended tower in 10 seconds or your tower back.
Both splitpush, both need multiple people to rotate, both WANT you to rotate so their team can take objectives. Just that singed will run around like an asshole for 30 seconds and kill the one person that inevitably was careless enough to linger in his cloud too long and tryndamere will evaporate anyone within 660 units and die seconds later.
The key difference between them is that tryndamere has the often far superior, and vastly more irritating option of just staying on the tower when you rotate and doing significant damage(or simply taking it) because this isnt dota and glyphs and proper cc arent a thing.

honestly if the guy could just not use his ult while cc'd he wouldn't be nearly as frustrating. not sure why that's even a thing
the fact that these characters suck to play against, doesnt make tryn any more fun.
i wonder if he might be the worst champion in the game. he fails in every regard.
That's because he isn't fun to play against at any point, even if you beat him pre-6, he can still potentially face roll you at 6. Move too close to the creep wave, he rolls to you and slows you with his AOE slow which reduces your AD, making it next to impossible to get away without burning your flash and once he dominates lane, he essentially snowballs and can even tower dive you.
let's say you win lane, then he just begins mindlessly split pushing and spins away at the first sight of anyone.
