When someone likes a game, it's only natural for them to voice their thoughts opinions and desires. It doesn't matter if they tend to have no idea what they're talking about most of the time like when people want buffs or nerfs to something.

i mean i love this game (the gameplay not the balance ofc) but the balance team isnt even saying on the boards hmmm this is a good idea maybe we will test this to see if this is great on X champion.

It's more about wishful thinking and letting other people know the fun and exciting ideas you can come up with to spur discussion, rather than actually, genuinely calling for change.

Because sometimes when you are part of a community you like engaging in hypothetical scenarios with other members of the community.

Why are people talking ASOIAF theories when GRRM won't ever deny or confirm them? BECAUSE IT IS FUN

its true its fun to theorize things. even still some ideas are good ideas for champions yet the balance team denies/refuses the feedback on the boards.

Because it’s fun. It’s a transformative art, in the same vein as fanart and fanfiction.

because we exist in a time where there are only 2.3 degrees of separation or whatever. if something is a good idea it only has to pass through 3 peoples eyes to reach your intended target. information age perks and what not.

Some posts do get attention from developers. I know there was one earlier about a ward manipulator.

you mean zombie ward?

No, it was a champion whose kit was focused around wards, it was interesting, but Riot devs do poke their heads around the creative corner, I think they've got plenty of work to do since theres only a handful working on SR ..zzz

They used to.. like 2-3 years ago you'd see Rioter's pop into popular Champion concepts to give a piece of their mind on the idea. When Kindred came out they even commented that it wasn't based on a popular fan-made concept at the time, despite borrowing heavy features from the art concept with the dual personality and black and white designs
