Care to respond in what you think Jayce and Pantheon alternative builds are for you?
You buffed Graves and MF even though they go crit build after buying Duskblade and have crit scalings, but you didn't buff Jayce and Pantheon who can't go crit build?
Because ADC in 2017 also AD assassins
yea rofl they buffed graves and mf LOL. But not panth jayce riven or other fighters that had dusk as a core.
Doesnt even have to be big buffs like they gave to talon kha etc.
It could just be something tiny like +1 ad per level. That would be fair enough. But Naaaa too busy compensating their shiv nerf with an RFC buff OMEGALUL.
EDIT: not to mention they buffed lee sin , who also had bruiser/tanky builds he could have gone for instead (not saying they shouldnt have buffed him, just pointing it out).
I mean that would just be justifying one bad decision with another. MF did not need to be buffed. The fact that she was buffed does not mean other champions such as jayce or pantheon who also did not need buffs should be buffed.
Because Jayce and Panth generally don’t or shouldn’t use Duskblade as part of their bread-and-butter kits because they fight in the open.
Jayce’s highest winrate build on op.gg is Ghostblade, Cleaver, Guardian Angel. Even in the jungle, Pantheon’s highest winrate build is Ghostblade, Cleaver, Deadman’s Plate. These champions want early lethality to snowball early, the stat mix from Cleaver to carry the mid-game, and armor and surviving or chasing power to dive turrets as the game goes later.
Zed and Talon took Duskblade because they are designed to jump out of fog and blow enemies up, using their burst and speed to avoid damage. Jayce and Pantheon aren’t.
Yeah yeah and where's the minor Riven buff? She was affected too ya know!
And what about my Garen and Sion that built duskblade. My bush cheese strats will never be the same. It was a staple in all of their builds.
I read a rioter comment aimed for Jayce st least. It’s because he has other items he performs better with, and while he is a frequent user, his other builds would become potentially oppressive as a result if the buffs were handled wrong. He’s very sensitive to buffs and can become dominant really easily. Don’t worry though! They said they had some ideas in the works about potential buffs for him that hopefully won’t cause this problem. :)
