What a fucking massive powercreep, I remember when people used to complain about Fiddle's CC and permasilence and now he needs a minute less CD on his ultimate just to compete with the other powercrept champions.
Not really. It's just that his cc got nerfed over time and it is far easier to get rid of him atm, things like Taric ult and Janna ult completely remove him
His gameplay is so binary and cancerous i would prefer it if they left him like this until he's reworked. If he's ever going to become meta people are just going to complain about how braindead and unfun it is to not be able to get near him because he just clicks on you to cc.
its not just CC. Fiddle used to be fun JG, and his W used to be able to keep up with most dam 1v1 so he had some survivability. Now, even if he has his W locked on he is dead in 1 second. There is too much burst. Reducing his CD time isn't going to make him viable either. Fiddle ults in and either Zhonya's and you walk out of range, or doesn't and you destroy him before he can do much,

Fiddles shouldn't be viable. He has a toxic kit.
Well people complained back when it was a whole 3 seconds. Same with Rammus.
Well, to be honest, even with the ultimate constantly ticking as a passive, that wouldn't be enough to carry.
To be fair, his Q used to last for 3 seconds and didn't make people run away from him, but in random directions so it didn't go directly against his W (and somewhat R). Also, not entirely sure, but I think his E could silence the same target more than one time before. So the total duration of his CC chain was reduced from around 4.25-5.25 seconds to always be 3.5 seconds.
Edit: Just checked, yes it could silence someone more than once.
He's a snowball champ that can hardly get a kill early and is the constant bully of lower elo counter jungling
To be fair, Fiddle's ult isn't really as good as you're making it out to be. It's just an extra flash with a bit of damage.
I hate Fiddle, every thing about this champ is so frustrating. His point and click fear is infuriating, his "i can silence a whole team" silence is bullshit, and his stand still and if you aren't fed you will lose a trade is just unfun to play against, and his ult dmg is absurd. I played a game where he went supp, built full ap, and could 100 - 0 our ad with just r, he said it was doing 1600 dmg in like 3 secs
His cc has gotten tweaked over time as well as its target priority, they kind of work differently compared to back when he was played more often imo.
Didn't he lose some clear time on buffs because of there no longer being mini-monsters with them? In addition to Gromp being a thing now?
I could see this less being power creep and more about him getting changed directly and indirectly.
I think the main reason why Fiddle jungle felt out of favor was the jungle changes that made it impossible for him to clear effectively (no small stuff on blue and red buff). This buff could potentially make him playable, either in jungle or in mid. I am afraid of the called out jungle changes to come that should make jungling for mana intensive champions easier. If these are too big and Fiddle gets this buff, he might be just a little over-tuned. Not much though I think.

? Fiddles got a minor rework and the game has changed quite a bit since his prime. Its not so much "power creep" as much as champions have different kits today and the jungle changed a lot, so he really doesnt hold up.
