@riot dont ever put a powerful general defensive steroid on a high AD + armor pen item again

Im looking at you edge of night. It used to be that squishies would gasp sacrifice some offensive power to buy a banshees veil if cc was an issue. Now they can get this bullshit item and get a banshee passive while still retaining full offensive capabilities. This item is so damn good I've seen it bought against mostly ad teams just because the offensive stats are good and the shield is good into any damn thing.

Is it so bad of an idea to tell squishy AD mains that they have to build a defensive item like banshees cloak if they dont want to get blown up that we have to give them a "banshees dagger"?

lets take away zonyas.

lets take away offensive items with defence on tanks, lets remove sunfire as its AOE

lets remove locket as the shield is too useful

lets remove hex tech belts as the mobility is far too usefull

They did nerf zonyas to take away a lot of the offensive stats on it.... oh I see AD items can have both....

Zhonyas isnt as good as edge of night and its active isnt guaranteed to put u in a safer spot at all (but a spell shield does guarantee a safer spot).

Locket is a defense item giving a defense boost, theres no issue there...

Sunfire is decent offense that falls off like a fricking brick and is bought moreso for oppresive waveclearing capability.

The hextech point of yours is a total non sequitur.

Seraphs on its own is mediocre and requires more mana stacking for a real nice shield.

Phantom dancer is bullshit.

Deaths dance doesnt reduce damage at all, it only lessens burst by converting a small portion of it to sustained damage, its defensive portion is often way overlooked as it is bought mainly as a wonderful stat stick that gives physical vamp. Zhonyas active has a big chance to put u in a shit spot afterwards anyways, and it prevents u from doing anything. Mallet gives shit AD and nothing else in terms of offensive stats. Thirster shield is ok.
