Why should i play support?

can't do sht. Yes my adc can also go lethality and i can also have a team full of lethality but i have no job here as a support. I can't save anyones ass if they get burst down in 0.01 sec. It doesn't matter if my team is also killing in 0.01 sec as i have no damage nor can i save them with my heals/shields. I feel like a 5th wheel. When a zed does a W, Q, E + TL combo and kills you, imagine how annoying it gets as he does that from miles away. Doesn't even need a fkn ult. Just when i got over the fact that mages were dominating bot lane then lethality sht pops up.

I am the 1000th person that has been moaning on this issue but you see the issue is that riot will not nerf the items. I can guarantee that the nerf will be so minor and will follow such a crazy logic that'll most likely make you WTF. I am actually leaving support until this lethality gets properly fixed and not just -5 lethality on yoomu.

Pftt here comes a real troll. I don't take people seriously if they don't message with their main accounts. Plus you just sound dumb especially when summoner 3 can be picked by any champ and so can solari. I always get solari and still against lethality it doesn't help much.

This is my main. Idk what you're going on about.

And exhaust can pretty much negate an assassination attempt if you use it quickly. Locket also helps a lot against anyone who's bursting you, be it an assassin or ranged burst. And pretty much every support has a way of peeling/protecting their carries.

It say's you're level 1 or it might be a bug. Are you awake? lethality is abused by adc's as well and by the time i have gotten my hands on solari before buying ardent/sighstone i am already dying. I just can't afford zhonyas because that compliments me the best as i also need AP. Even worse i am always behind in gold and i just take too long to farm even late game. You think solari's active shields my whole teams health bar. It is a decent active shield with a high CD. Do you want me to go on about lethality items and the stats they give? Its not fun when a zed at level 7 with 1 kill, just kills you with one combo without using ult. Same goes for adc. They will die as fast as they kill but supports have no role in this meta so far. Maybe mage supports can carry themselves but not the traditional supp. Tank supp like naut, alistar, blitz, thresh are really good. Yh they die faster than before but their CC is really helpful and they can tank enough damage as well.

And as a support, you don't need damage. You have utility, so work with that. Plonk yourself next to your carry and CC anyone who tries to jump on them.

To be honest, next to your carry is the opposite of where you want to be right now, with almost all assassins having AoE on their main damage. You'll simply die from the AoE. You wanna be behind them, and ready to throw CC on their face. Sadly, most of our CC is kinda delayed, so... :/

Or play Lulu.

No i mean my shields and heals scale with AP. I am saying this with playing a decent amount of games with soraka and then quitting to play velkoz. I can negate damage by even using solari/ exhasut but how will i now save my allies from burst? Zed that probably doesn't need his ult to kill you will just kill my adc afterwards. Trust me, after a while you realize you might as well be a mage support as when your adc dies you can atleast defend for yourself. Soraka can burst heal crazy but with her ult + solari + and/or summoner heal + W. It's still not enough lel, i really do mean it. Any other supp would just give up half way.

Exhaust still applies to the assassin, so they can't get to your ADC. Locket applies to everyone around you.

If for whatever reason, the assassin is 1v1 against you, it just means you got caught out. A zed who blew his WEQ on a support would have to sit out of the fight until it comes back up, at which point your team would've already started steamrolling through theirs.

Zed comes bot lane, kills me under turret. WOW i got caught out. You're seriously living in a different world. In team fights zed comes takes a kill and there he goes back to his shadow. If on the other hand i play velkoz and he manages to kill my adc, i can still deal with him myself however as a soraka if my adc dies i am next to useless. I love playing passive support but they just don't work in the current meta unless you're a premade 5 man team that has alot of experience.

I do use locket and exhaust but the CD is high. What part of that are you not understanding? The fact that you want me to solely rely on my summoners and actives of items says it all really.

As Morgana, I snared a Talon but he still completed his dash and one shot my Fortune. I thought it amazing luck I snared him at all (caught him when he was invisible and have no idea why he did not use EoN), so it was a bit sad that he still got her.

But I think it is a fair point that most games prefer offense to win over defense. People don't want to play around unkillable champions.

dude support is so fun, once you get good at it you learn things, for me, whenever someone tries to poke me (ex. 4th shot jhin) you can punish them so hard and even get a kill
