Dear Riot,
When you spoke about the Marksmen last year and what each one was supposed to be, you gave reference to Corki as "THE Magic Damage Marksman." While this is somewhat true, it also fits Teemo and probably fits him better, since his entire E revolves around additional magic damage, and his auto-attacks become very strong even building no AD.
Why is Teemo ignored as a marksman when he is classified as one?

PunnedIt1 votesBecause Teemo, despite being underpowered at the moment, is guilty of one unforgivable sin. He violates the whole aggressively dashing in, killing, and getting out playstyle that the toxic gods of League (
) all hold to. This means that Riot always has to be careful when mentioning Teemo as they don't want to alienate Teemo players (a solid block of avid fans), but also don't want to alienate the scrubs who main Riven. Therefore, Riot tends to let Teemo be, while pretending they don't notice he's there (aside from the occasional Satan joke), because the instant Teemo becomes viable again his "can't escape with a sliver of health" playstyle is going to enrage all the Tryndamere mains who think that it is their God given right to escape with a sliver of health.
