Hes right. Thats actually a massive nerf. With this change, riot is effectively pidgeonholing lulu to the support role because she will not be capable of solo laning.

Thats not reducing the damage by 70%. What that means is the first target will still take 100% damage, and other targets hit after that will only take 70% of that which means a 30% reduction in damage. Still an unwarranted nerf, but not nearly as bad as "making her q do 70 percent less damage

Slow duration increased to 2 seconds at all ranks from 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 AP ratio increased to .6 from .5

The AP ratio increase was removed in the most recent PBE patch.

they buffed it to 0.7, then 0.6, now its back to 0.5.

They're shifting power from solo Lulu to support Lulu. Lulu was always meant to be a support. She was even labeled a suppordle when she came out.

pigeonholing champions is wrong and is incredibly boring. "YOU CANT BE ANYTHING MORE THAN WHAT YOU WERE BORN" is a pathetic mindset to have, just because i was born the child of a prostitute doesnt mean i have to be nothing more than that.

Just because youre a support, doesnt mean you cant be more than a support.

Braum needs changes in that respect; he is one thing, and cannot do anything else. If his Q were a passthrough skillshot, he would be viable as a toplaner, he should also be able to ward hop but... no, supports can only support. pathetic.

She can still bully. She can still farm and auto-transition into the team's second support, which was one of the main reasons people picked her into a solo lane. It's her too good waveclear that Riot is trying to tone down, and even with that toned down she would still be a good solo laner.

Or should we talk about how her W is buffed in a way that lets her gain bonus attack speed? That would help her jungling, too, Lulu jungle is pretty legit.

I can also go on on how her solo lane is pretty much "a better version of Lulu support in every aspect", as that her solo lane has far less weaknesses and the same amount of strengths compared to her support counterpart.

I mean waveclear is kinda essential in the solo lane, lulu also tends to poke through creeps(like a huge portion of mages), so well, it's a huge nerf to solo lane lulu.

30% damage reduction is MASSIVE, so frankly, no, I don't think she can do that anymore.

Can she? 30% is fucking huge, hell when zed got nerfed they did so by 10%, then compensated when he hits 2 or more shurikens, this is a huge nerf, add to that the fact that her solo lanes aren't top tier anymore, and it's just pointless.

Why do you hate solo lane lulu so much? No, she won't be, solo lane lulu is decent right now, she isn't something amazing anymore, throwing such a huge nerf at her won't leave her "still good".

No, it wouldn't, the buff is more valuable traveling around camps than spammed to clear them, not to mention the damage nerf on q will easily make her miss more damage than gained by her w.

It is. Look I can definitely agree support lulu is weaker and should be buffed, but not at the cost of ruining what's fun about her and turning her into another janna, also preferably not at the cost of ruining her solo lane if it can be easily avoided.

That still hurts a lot. 30% damage reduction will be a killer. Say goodbye to long range EQ snipes. ADC standing behind the support? No damage. EQ is also an expensive combo and you shouldn't have to use it all the time to get full damage. I think that hurts Lulu overall, not just her solo lane.

I'm thinking I'd rather play her in her current state since she actually works for me right now and I'm not so sure about the changes. I don't play her in solo lanes btw.

It's 70% of total damage, not 70% less damage.

So in other words, 30% reduced damage is what you're looking at.
