Here's a question about Grievous Wounds.
If a self-heal must have Grievous Wounds in the game to be balanced, couldn't it be said that the self-healing in question is not balanced?
I believe that all healing would be much easier to make both potent and balanced without its presense.
Why SHOULD a clutch heal be have in-fight counterplay? Shields don't (you aren't realistically going to wait out the 2+ second shield in a fight). What's the deal?
When a part of your kit revolves around self-healing, having it reduced to a value low enough that its impact is effectively negated simply because someone has an item with absolutely no windows of power attached to it feels absolutely terrible you can't play around it at all. It simply makes you, as a champion, less effective.
Why does Grievous Wounds need to exist? Is it solely for 'counterplay' when there are many other more frustrating aspects than the self-healing that can be reasonably balanced? For the self-healing that can't be balanced, why is it in the game to necessitate Grievous Wounds, which indirectly makes all of the balance-able ones drastically weaker?
What's the counterplay to Crit? I can't buy an item and make crit 40% weaker. I can only make it 10% weaker via
. There's a lot of inconsistencies in what's allowed to be powerful. If healing isn't, why is it not modified to make it 'balanced' without GW in the game?
even existing feels terrible to any champion that need sustain to function because there are absolutely no windows of power to play around. It simply makes you drastically weaker. Why the hell is the Grievous Wounds function part of an active if Grievous Wounds is really something you think needs to be in the game?
I know I'm just regurgitating the same thing over and over, but seriously, why? If we NEED GW, why are the heals so strong to necessitate it? If heals have to be so strong because of GW, why do we have GW?
