Why does garen need a w nerf to compensate for the planned changes?

I didn't realize he'd be so over the top that you had to revert his W all the way back to the initial cap of only 30 resists, especially considering how easy to obtain shred for both resists are these days.

The champion SUCKS BALLS. There's no need for a compensation nerf.

Also as a sidenote you should make Garen's LONG ASS Q animation at least scale with AS or something if you're going to try to encourage some wonky Tri-force Bork build to be viable.

Because the buffs he's getting are fucking massive?

You're absolutely correct. But it's a placebo nerf so don't worry. Its simply a paper 'nerf' so that people don't go crazy calling Garen all kinds of broken/busted. It makes 0 difference to lane phase.

Garens core problems still remain. If he can't all in the enemy then the enemy can all in him.

Like you say his Q animation still sucks.

His q silence is still nerfed.

His movement speed is still nerfed.

His ultimate still has a slow cast time.

He can be aggroed still from behind minion waves.

He has no gap closer.

The only good thing about this buff is he can now ult anytime which will be useful for ganks and with his passive he can maybe survive a little longer under his tower farming. Otherwise....meh......

You really have no clue how much of a buff E and R are...... as well as the passive change.

It's called adjustment? Why would they buff a champion who is already super buffed already.

I'm 90% sure I read somewhere that they did make his q animation scale with attack speed, and it did feel faster on the PBE
