I don't think i've ever seen such discrepancy with winrates

For all the years i've been playing, most of the time champions' winrate would be within 47-53%, with a vast majority being between 48%-52%, and a few oddballs above or below.

But lately, winrates range from 44% to 55% on so many champions. I don't think i've ever seen the meta enforced so much upon the game before.

Sure, winrate doesn't mean everything, which is why champions like Ryze has been sitting at a low winrate for such a long time. I still think it's disgusting to know that champion selections means so much now, with some picks being far outclassed by others.

?

121 champions out of 140 are currently between 47%-53%

100 of those are sitting between 48%-52%

This is from op.gg and it has Ryze above a 48% winrate. Even if Ryze was lower (like he is in other regions) Riot just made a post the other day saying that champions who are too strong in competitive (Ryze, Kalista, Azir) will not be high priority for balance changes in solo q.

Meanwhile Warwick has been on 53-54% win rate in pretty much ALL elos for 5 or 6 patches AT LEAST, with both high play rate and a significant ban rate, and Riot still has yet to nerf him for some reason, while the community still blindly believes that Warwick is perfectly okay.

Never have the winrates fluctuated so much except almost every other time in LoL history where we had winrates 55-56%+.
