I still don't get why Cassiopeia was nerfed for building an item that used to be core for mages

Another way that Riot made mage itemization worse was by taking away Abyssal Scepter(which is 10x better than banshees veil and easier to build to) and gave mages this lackluster item where you can only sit on 25 MR until you complete the entire item. This change affected Cassiopeia more than any other mage due to her inability to build Merc Treads.....

Instead of nerfing a champion for building an item that used to be one of her core items, why doesn't riot just fix the mage itemization that they themselves screwed up in the first place.

i find the whole problem with cass is her gameplay in general. i wonder if riot will ever come up with a rework that isnt button spamming.

its a combination of that and her dominance in pro play. They want to see more midlaners for worlds.

abyssal mask isnt abyssal sceptor. It got big changes. It is supposed to be a tank item, but alot of mages that build ROA can build that instead. Idk if cass building that item was intended.

Meh, I like full damage Cass more so the change doesn't affect me whatsoever.

I think Abyssal mask in general is just a troll item in most scenarios.
