Surrendering, why doesn't the majority of votes matter?

Why do we need to have 4 people agree to a surrender vote? I'm tired of being held hostage by the wonder DuoQ who really think they can take back a 0-20 match, why doesn't having 3 votes matter if the majority of the team wants to ff?

It's called a supermajority, and stop whining. You're not being "held hostage", as they have every right to vote their way as much as you do, and you probably blame "duos" for it more often than there's actually a duo present.

so first of all, you can chill with the assumptions. secondly, when a game is truly over and the Best bot NA and Best NA bot go 0/14 in lane and 3 other people want to stop playing but they won't let them, it's not a hostage situation, it's torture.

What assumptions. He's kind of making a point, really. You did kind of blame duos, and there's probably not as many duos as you think :P You're exaggerating and assuming more, possibly!

And good duos don't always bot lane together. More influence is gathered with two separate roles, like jungle and another lane.

"and you probably blame "duos" for it more often than there's actually a duo present." is the assumption i was talking about. and when im in a normal game that lasts for 55 minutes, and my bot lane actually have matching names, and say they wont surrender, i feel safe in thinking that theyre duoing and forcing 3 other people to sit and take an asswhooping for another 10 mins

Lol. You say chill with assumptions, when. Your post blindly assumes.

Still unsure why you feel duos are ruining your games with a No vote more than 2 strangers are. Solo queues are far more common than duos, so statistically, most of the time 2 people are "holding you hostage", it's just 2 people that want to keep playing.

If it was a simple majority vote, far far more games would be forfeited for no good reason than already are. If you're just upset about one game where a duo actually used this to troll, I'm sorry, but this isn't usually the case so isn't a good reason to trash a good system.
