Riot, do you have more plans for Veigar?

Veigar Baleful Strike (Q) cooldown reverted back to 7/6.5/6/5.5/5 from 5 at all ranks [Note: Q's cooldown is now reverted back the current live values]

kind of disappointed this is all that happened today. I mean I agree with it because 5 seconds on Q both OOM'd him too fast and gave him too frequent poke, but aren't you going to do anything about his W or R? the Q range addition gives him more safety and a vastly better late game by the fact of more range, but he still fails to feel like a full kit, and personally i think he's got to have one of the most unsatisfying passives out there

W needs a shorter delay -- nothing drastic, maybe only 1 second or even .9 if you're feeling adventurous -- and that's probably it. something special for casting it in your box would make him flashier but isn't necessary

and how come you don't mention anything about his R's enemy AP scaling? it's got to be the least healthy part of his kit -- it's unfair for either Veigar or the enemy. it takes too much of his power budget and leaves him more vulnerable to AD assassins like Zed than other squishy mages, and probably more than he should be

have you thrown around the idea of giving him added bonuses for throwing stuff at trapped enemies? it seems like a perfect match for what you wanted him to be -- the crazy Yordle that cages you and tortures you with magic. did these concepts prove too unsatisfying/overwhelming in caged vs not caged scenarios?

they will not be giving veigar any more stay in lane capabilities or safety mechanism, nothing short of reworking E entirely and admitting failure. sooooo nothing they do anymore will give him the safety skill he desperately needs.

until veigar gets a viable E, he cant be played.

his E isn't really too bad for me anymore, as much as i think his old E was fine. a further shortened delay or eliminated cast time would probably be best at this point

i think that it needs to have some counter mechanisms to blinks and Zed but that's just veigar bias

i'm more concerned about his W's unreliability and his ultimate's unnecessary power and i think those can both be changed to enhance his role and make him a more generalized, popular pick

His W needs work, no doubt. I say to give it time. Riot would not be idiotic enough to leave it as is. The big change I want to see is the damage on his ult go up. They claimed he gets more AP than before, but he really doesn't because of how unreliable Q is now. They also slightly raised its cooldown at max rank. So unless you are farming two minions constantly with every Q, his damage overall was nerfed. Not to mention they will likely reduce W damage to make it more reliable. It was just an uncalled-for Nerf. At least his passive got a little love, though I would like some more (haven't played it yet, do maybe it is in a good spot)

whats the counter for anything with a dash/jump onto your face. a 5min flash, thats it. that makes veigar very team dependent, id rather have a kogmaw mid.
