Trolls win all the time.. You have to either be so inhuman as to not give 2 fucks what happens to you, or your time.

Or be so happy go lucky moronic that no matter what happens everything's sunshine and rainbows.

Or be spongebob..

I can't count how many games I get like the one I just had.

My support gets multiple tristana bombs on her, and walks over me everytime.. Even when I try to move away they keep moving back ontop of me. I ask them wtf and they're like "well I didn't want to be support"... as if that answers all my questions of why they're such a moron...

Then they proceed to move out of lane into the tri bush neear the tower 80% of the time going back and forth between lane and the bush.. ultimately making the lane a 2v1.

Meanwhile I'm getting harrasesd by trist bombs, and Threshs's long range troll auto's. I keep asking wtf is wrong with them, and to get in lane, of course by this point I'm pissed off..

Already had games with other trolls, morons, feeders, tilting little cry babies and every other cess pool of ignorant tards under the sun this wonderful game is filled with. So Sue me. I was upset at this point that yet another game is going to be ruined and my time wasted because some idiot wants to troll. Of course I got on their case, of course I called them out, and of course I told them to stop being an idiot.

Oh god, dear me. I broke the #1 golden rule in league. Never say anything.. Period. Doesn't matter how correct you are, doesn't matter how fing wrong they are, if YOU talk first, or talk the most. YOU will be reported 9 times. Doesn't matter how right you are...

Oh did I mention the support kept trying to Screw up my last hitting? Yea... Or when thresh would hook me, or try to hook me, and trist would go in with bombs, they'd walk away to the turret? Yea.. Meanwhile I get thrashed bottom lane trying to go 2v1, my top lane comes down and feeds yet another 2 kills, and of course with all the fked up damage in this game this season I get 2 shot by trist if I dare do anything.

So that's what happened.. Troll won, again. Because I dared say anything about the abuse I was recieving by the player, and this games mentally challenged players are so far up their own white Knight asses they can't see the situation for what it is.

GG... Uninstalled.. idk why I waste my time with this game, or its mentally challenged community, and their twisted vision of what "Toxicity" actually is.

Well you are right about one thing. My inability or rather, refusal to mute teammates and pings, etc. and actually wanting to work with them, coupled with my extreme distate for todays brain dead retarded society and their degenerate mentality is not a good mix. It tends to make my teammates tilt the moment I stop kissing their ass and sucking their dick like their gods gift to league, then they presume to attack me as if I'm the "Toxic" one.

Excuse me if I tell you to stop doing stupid shit like not pushing a free lane to the tower when you kill bot. Excuse me if I tell you to stop being a moronic tard when you repeatedly dive 1v3 or worse, without any team support. Excuse me if I tell you off for being a support who is out of lane 95% of the time, doing literaly nothing, or afking at the tower. Excuse me if I expect a little more than 2 IQ points worth of intelligence from my teammates in Ranked.

If this makes me "toxic" that just shows how far society has fallen. How dare I not treat every human being like their gods gift to my life, and not treat them with the utmost complete respect despite how much they dick my time over, and refuse to give 2 fucks about the game.

**How dare I even SUGGEST that my teammate is doing something wrong, let alone give them good sound advice. As they turn around and tell me to quit whining, as other teammates jump in their defense, turn the situation toxic, then blame me for it. Which happens 95% of the time mind you. **

Of course its my fault. Why wouldn't it be?

My experience? Doesn't matter how, or what you say. Doesn't matter hwo nice I say it. The bolded part above happens anyway. Everyone in this game has such a massive god complex its insane. They get intensely insulted the moment you suggest they did anything wrong, then tell you to quit complaining while the teammates in most cases jump on you and 4 way report you.

It's a joke. and so is society and the retarded mentality it brings. This isn't just a league problem either.

No, please, respond to the rest of my thread. Just because I think that doesn't mean I act rude, hostile, or toxic to people. On the contrary actually. I'm a very nice person.. Outside of league anyway where that type of mentality is not only tolerated, its enforced. So long as you act all happy and go lucky you can be the most toxic troll in league, and nobody will do anythinga bout it. The moment you expect teammates to work together, fix mistakes, or not be a tard, you're suddenly the toxic troll.

How much you wanna bet I could do what that support did in my original post every single game? literally sabatoging every game I play, but so long as I either A) Say nothing, or B) act all nice and happy. 95% of the teams out of 500 will not care that I straight up am throwing every game?

I'll put my life savings on the line to bet that. I know league and its community.

how much you want to bet, if I go into a game, and ask someone to stop diving, or doing something that's throwing our chances of winning out the window, they'll either A) get butthurt and tilt, or B) escelate the situation into a toxic situation and blame me for it?

I'll bet you a very large average will do it.

That's just how trash this community is. You can defend it all you want, but I know its right. you're arguments are personal attacks on me, my arguments are sound logical analysis of my experiences for the last 5 years in League.

Funniest thing ive read on the boards in years

You are toxic. Period. There is no way around it. Trying and dodge around it all you want or make excuses or blame the community and everyone else but yourself. It is you

Dude, the OP is obviously tilted and pissed off, they are going to be combative if you accuse them of stuff. There may be some truth to your words, but they are not in a listening mood and what you are claiming is just going to make them angrier. It won't accomplish anything and it only inflames the situation further. So you should probably stop.

Every single thread has a person just like this one, ironically like clockwork they accuse the player who is justifiably complaining about justifiable complaints of being toxic. Then they proceed to "look up" the player and attempt to eviscerate said player about his stats then proceed to say stuff like "you are trash, shut the fuck up". And then they continue to aggravate the player by being condescending and well... toxic..

And before you decide to reply, Complaining about the state of the game and the large % of games that do have trolls and afk'ers and are generally one sided IS JUSTIFIED. This is a monumental problem. He is not the only one who is complaining about it. It is NOT fun to have 2 out of 10 games actually be "fair" while the others are decided due of trolls. If it was 1 in 10 games that were decided by trolls that would be a different matter.

i think you need a reality check mate.

I don't think ive played a game in 2 years where a player literally inted and ran it up mid. Picking an off meta champ you dont like isnt trolling, feeding because you arent good isnt inting or trolling, not listen to you in game isnt trolling.

Stop being a damn drama queen. Games are very one sided lately ill give you that but stop throwing around the word troll and afk'ers when you clearly don't know what either means.

2 years since ive gotten somebody legitimately rage quit or buy 4 tears and run it down mid. I don't know where all of these magical games are coming from but looking at your match history i cant find one of those types of players so please point out to me where you are seeing them so often

All I can say is if what you say its true, i envy you. I truly envy you. All I've wanted for so long are genuine good, fair and balanced games.

you must have won the good luck matchmaking lottery.

Hi OP, I know it sucks getting shitters and jerks on your team, but the situation is not quite as hopeless as it may seem. There are a lot of things you can do to avoid getting into trouble while also getting your teammates to be more cooperative and helpful. I've written about this before so I'll just quote it here instead of re-writing all of it.

{quoted}

Ok for advice I've got a few things. A lot of it is written out in the post linked below, but I'll elaborate a bunch and add a few points in my comment here as well.

Warning: Wall of text incoming. It's a lot to read, but trust me it's all useful techniques that I've used to great effect in my own games. It's worth your time if you are willing to read through it all.

1. On avoiding getting banned:

You don't want to get banned obviously, so first and foremost you should avoid being negative, passive aggressive, or insulting in any way from this point on. A good rule of thumb is this: If you wouldn't say it loudly to somebody in a public place in front of someone who's respect you hold dear, it's probably not something you should say to a stranger over the internet. Avoid being sarcastic, or saying anything to blame teammates.

Generally speaking, anything that you say that might anger your teammate is something that could make them report you. Whether or not their report for that statement is justified, if it triggers the IFS to review your behavior and the IFS finds something else that you said in that game that it thinks is punishable, it's going to punish you for the second thing even if the person reported you for something else.

Keep in mind that after a 14-day ban you're going to be on super thin ice. Even minor negativity may be enough to trigger another punishment, and unfortunately (and in this case, unfairly in my opinion) for you, the next punishment in the progression is a permanent ban. If you are not absolutely certain that you can talk to irritating teammates without saying something punishable, then it is better to not talk to those types of teammates at all. Mute them and don't even acknowledge what they say. You can safely report them yourself after the game and leave it in Riot's hands to deal with them.

After several months of consistently honorable (or otherwise positive) behavior, your account standing should improve and that 'thin-ice' and danger of being permabanned will loom over you much less.

2. On using past, present, and future tense to better steer discussions in a positive direction:

It especially helps to steer conversations into the future tense. reasons being this:

  • The past tense is often used for assigning blame
  • the present tense is often used for discussing values
  • and the future tense is often used for making choices or decisions in the future.

This is a subtle twist of language that a lot of people don't realize affects their discussions with others, and they react to it on a subconscious level.

For example, picture this happening in one of your games. Person A just died to a gank because they pushed up too far and didn't ward. Here we will look at the outcomes of using different verb tenses to discuss their death.

Case 1 - Past tense:

Person B: Dude you shouldn't have been so far up <- notice the past tense, this will often make Person A feel like they are being attacked, and they are more likely to react by defending themselves instead of focusing on playing smarter the next time. person A: I wasn't trying to die, they just caught me! It wasn't my fault!!!

Here Person A argued instead of recognizing or learning what they need to do better next time (ward and watch out for ganks).

Case 2 - Present tense:

Person B: Aww man that sucks, I'm sorry you're dead right now. it's not fair how they can pull bullshit like that. person A: Thanks! Yeah, it's so unfair!

Here both players commiserate over the unfortunate event. Nothing is learned from it, but Person A is at least feeling supported by person B. As long as you use the present tense like this (to express support for a teammate after something bad happens), it will serve a good purpose because it will put Person A's mind at ease and they won't be worried about getting flamed by Person B every time they make a mistake.

Case 3 - Future tense:

Person B: Oof that's unfortunate. Lets try to ward next time before you push like that again, maybe it will help keep you safe. person A: Thanks! I'll try that.

Here person B makes the discussion focus more on what to do about the problem in the future, and they do it in a helpful way. This helps Player A to see why their push ended badly for them and gives them a clear goal - a safer strategy to try the next time that they want to push.

Also, keep in mind that verb tense is more than just talking about when to do something. Telling somebody to "stop feeding/flaming" or to "feed/flame less next time" isn't really using the future tense, because it is still making the player's mistake from the past into the main focus of the discussion.

3. On maintaining team morale and preventing tilt and arguments.

A lot of the time, people begin to argue or tilt because of plays going badly. They can't accept responsibility (or fault / blame) for their mistakes, or they are upset because somebody else's mistake made the game harder to win.

A series of bad plays is sometimes all it takes to drive a team into the worst sorts of in-fighting and arguments. This is why it is super important to maintain team morale and to keep people focused on strategy and future plays.

When a play goes badly, you can head-off (or prevent) multiple problems. First you can prevent the player from tilting and getting anxious or afraid of their mistakes getting them blamed or harassed by the team. And second, you can help the whole team to not tilt by turning the focus away from the mistake and towards what can be done to prevent or make-up-for the mistake in the future.

To do this you need to use a combination of the present and future tense, in order to make the player (or team) feel supported while also giving them a clear goal of something to do better the next time around. For example, the future tense case from section 2. Notice how Player B commiserates with player A to make them feel like Player B is on their side ("oof that 's unfortunate," and then gives them an idea for what to do next time ("Maybe if we ward next time it will keep you safe.")

Maintaining team morale isn't just about preventing tilt though! You don't even have to try to make players feel better after a bad play if they are already feeling great in the first place! This is why it is important to compliment teammates whenever a play goes well.

If the jungler ganks top and they kill the enemy or force the enemy to waste resources... Say something like "good teamwork top & jungle" or "great gank" because these sorts of things will make them feel good about what they did well, and make them feel motivated to try to do such teamwork successfully again in the future.

If bottom lane gets a tower or mid lane roams and makes a successful play, compliment them for it! People love praise and it will make them feel like you have their back.

This has another benefit of making them trust you more, that way if things go wrong later and you need to give feedback or suggest they do something different, they will already think you are nice and will be less likely to take it personally or get upset when you tell them to do something differently.

Conclusion:

Phew! That was a lot, I hope it wasn't too much of a wall of text. That's most of what I have to say for now.

I've used each of these techniques to great effect in my own games, and I highly recommend you try them in your own. If you have any questions about them or you want to discuss other techniques, just let me know I'll be happy to talk more about this.
