Potential damage on new AP Warwick + build and guide.
So not only did his Q get its AP ratio back ( yay ), it will also proc on-hit effects now, which include Lichbane and Nashor's Tooth - the ultimate will also proc on-hit effects 3 times, but it already did that before.
So at lvl 18 his Q will deal 120% of his AD + 165% of his AP ( including the ratios from the spell itself, Lichbane and Nashor's Tooth ) + 149 ( base damage from the Lichbane, Nashor's and his passive ) + 10% of the target's maximum HP.
A burst combo would also include his ultimate which you would use on the enemy to proc Lichbane, and while the ult is channeling, Lichbane will come off cooldown again so that you can proc it again on his Q after the channel ends while at the same time proccing Nashor's 3 times with your ult.
So on top of the damage above, you will also deal 792 base damage ( including the damage of the ultimate itself, the base damage of Lichbane and the 3 times proc base damage of Nashor's ) + 167.5% of his bonus AD + 95% of his AP ( Lichbane and 3 times the Nashor's proc ).
A full build would be something along the lines of
and either a
or a
.
You already know why Nashor's and Lichbane are so great on him so I don't need to explain that any further. Penetration Boots scale really well with all the magic base damage WW has, especially the %HP damage on the Q. Since you will get a tear anyway to not run OOM in lane because of the high Q mana cost, Seraph's embrace will end up in your build too sooner or later. Gunblade also is a really nice item since all your damage is single-targeted, which means that you will apply the full 15% omnivamp on all of your spells on top of the healing that you already have. Plus your AD scalings aren't half bad either, so you like the AD it gives. The active is just an added bonus. To finish the build off you either get a Rab if you are really fed and/or they don't build MR or a Void if the opposite is the case.
Runes would be the standard AP Page but either get 10% flat CDR through Quints and Glyphs at level one or get 10% scaling CDR in glyphs, to max it out.
For masteries I would imagine that Stormraider's is the best option, since you will be able to reliably proc it with your Q and ult damage every time it's off CD on top of Warwick scaling really well with movement speed already anyway. 12-18-0.
Normal on-hit Warwick will probably still be better or just as good as AP Warwick anyway but I'm just really glad that they didn't give up on the fun build. Hopefully they don't instantly nerf it when it turns out to be a viable alternative.
As long as that doesn't happen, have fun hunting down marksmen and then oneshotting them with your Q's and ultimate.
sounds funny as fuck
and/or
?

is really fun to play but you will get destoryed in Teamfights.
But on the better side its really hard to win 1v1 against him because of his insane healing from Q.
