Great job, Riot, no one wanted to play him anyway. He's not even top 20 - or even top 30 - in winrate, and he's not especially potent in the hands of experienced players.

He's nowhere near "a little too strong", other marksmen like Graves are miles and miles ahead of him still.
Helmight1 votesHis ult was really silly though. Effectively, they took his late-game ultimate and gave it to him at level 6. It did a stupid amount of damage and could probably stand to get nerfed a bit.
But to say that Lucian got "gutted" is an overstatement. The new itemization helps him a lot and having a reliable ultimate in the early game gives Lucian a much bigger presence in lane post-6. Neither of those got changed, so he's fine.
