Gragas Drunken Rage (W) [ 8% down from 8/9/10/11/12% targets max hp]

Maokai Vengeful Maelstrom (R) cooldown increased to 60/50/40 from 40/30/20

Riot destroys 2 completely balanced champs again.

Meanwhile are still not nerfed and even recieve buffs. what a joke from the side of riot.

EDIT: They will buff maokai and gragas and nerf lee after worlds 100% and say an excuse like "we overdid it a bit on gragas and maokai..." typical riot.

Nothing really lame about champions that shine mostly in teamfights because of their kits.

and balanced? have you ever vs'd a maokai that beat your top laner? or a gragas that's beating your jungle? they are pretty oppressive at times.

it wasn't even a tank a meta just tanks were finally viable again, cause if this is what you considered a tank meta you really dont know what that is i mean the only time this could even really maybe considered tank meta was around the time of cinderhulk release when it was way to good

maokai is terrible in laning phase since his passive nerf. Juggernaut now counter him like garen who takes 1/2 of his hp with ulti. additionaly many items of maokai were nerfed in this patch

No there's a difference, when someone like Zac or something gets fed they don't automatically shut down your carries chances of actually being able to do something in a teamfight. Gragas and maokai will completely destroy teamfights if even ahead and if behind they are still useful.

I'm not saying they are op at all, just pretty strong in terms of usefulness and teamfighting.

Sorry, but while Gragas is balanced, Maokai isn't really. (He's the best top lane tank in the entire game, and he kinda forces out most other top lane tanks other than Shen who is based 100% on his ultimate.)

Irelia and Annie don't need nerfs. The Zed buff was tolerable.

The Lee buffs and the lack of Vayne nerfs are hauntingly bad decisions, but that means that you are swinging something like 3/8 out of your complaints which means I don't think that you know what you're talking about.

I actually have never really hated Gragas even before multiple other nerfs he has received in the past, playing with or against him. He hasn't really ever been toxic and he has clear weaknesses. I also like how playing AP Gragas or playing Tank Gragas can work so he's not just shoved into one role/build like other champions. He's probably one of the last tanks I would want nerfed.

The thing I don't like about Maokai is how easy it is for him to initiate teamfights, follow-up on ganks, and he doesn't really have a really weak spot to the game. If he's ahead he's really annoying to deal with, if he's behind he's still extremely strong since he has more than enough utility. At every stage of the game he can be strong and even when the Maokai plays bad and doesn't do great he's still a huge threat and very relevant.

Thus my point that Gragas is fine and Maokai is pushing other top lane tanks out of play. His entire kit allows him to work without having as much gold as other tanks because of the raw amount of disruption and tankiness that it brings to the table.

He gets AoE damage mitigation from his ultimate, a slow, a knock up/back, and a point and click snare. His amount of CC is insane, and combined with his relatively high damage for a tank, easy laning, and remarkable variety of build paths... He needs a nerf to let other top lane tanks shine through.

i've seen about 2 maokai in like 100 games and maybe 5-10 gragas

these were normal games, but "OP' champs tend to show up more because they aren't banned and allow practice

Maokai rushes Righteous Glory first item and can still very easily outduel the enemy top laner. Gragas can 100-0 a squishy in less than 3 seconds with nothing but a Cinderhulk. Tell me more about how balanced Maokai and Gragas are.

What the hell is balanced about a 15 second ultimate? Maokai could be built tanky and still do impressive damage and CC. Gragas I have much less of an issue with but his ultimate is one of the strongest engage/ disengage when used properly.
