Even when you're ahead, you're behind.
More defeatism in the League, because the community seems ever more determined to try and find new lows to stoop to. This one happened in my most recent game. We're ahead in kills, dragons, objectives and we have one baron. We've smashed the enemy inhibitor and they've only taken one of our turrets. Then half of us get killed in a 4v5 teamfight, with us the five.
"We can't win. FF GG."
And then one of the players starts to try and force a surrender for the rest of the game, and when that doesn't work they start running head on into the enemy fountain, intentionally feeding the enemy and trying to force a loss, and yes, we did lose that game.
Are you fucking serious?! We had such a massive lead on the enemy, and with the slightest speed bump you're ready to throw in the towel and piss yourself stupid in the corner?! How much of a lead to you need?! Are you so scared shitless that even an empty coat rack scares you?!
I don't have a problem with the game itself; what issues I do have are being addressed or will be addressed in the near future. My problem lies with the community; there's an ever growing malignant tumor in the community of defeatists and what are basically bullies; people who want victory handed over to them without contest so they can wank their wafer-thin egos, and the slightest tribulation makes them cower in the corner and cry. Unlike gameplay issues, Riot can't fix the problem with a patch. It's a mentality that is distressingly gaining traction, and it's gotten to the point that I can't have one single game in ANY game mode, be it normals, ranked, Dominion, Twisted Treeline, ARAM, Black Water Brawlers or whatever other game mode du jour Riot will cook up in the future without someone crying defeat before defeat actually happens and then forcing it on the rest of the team when they say nay. It's fair to no one; it's not only unfair to me and the rest of my team, but it's also unfair to the enemy. Stop it. You are ruining the game for everyone else who has come to actually play.
