PSA: when your opponent left lane, shove the wave.

How complicated is it to realize the enemy recalled then shove the wave to their tower? It frustrate the fuck out of me as the support when my adc is FREEZING LANE when enemy literally recalled in front of our face.

NO you don't freeze lane when your opponent isn't in lane! People stop mindlessly copying what the pros do without thinking about why they do such and such!

having a ward in the end of the bush near the enemy turret can easily spot them walking back to turret recalling and also if the jungler try to sneak into bush for lane ganks. if the enemy path into river you should have a ward in the river to see that too. it is just very unlikely that the enemy mid and jg would gank bot when their bot lane recalled, at least I have never seen this in my elo.

It happens frequently in mine, especially if bot is behind. So what anyway? They are more focused on CSing early game then taking turrets, since they deal little to no damage, and it leaves the enemy team with the ability to freeze lane if they push it up

if the enemy recalls, and you do not shove the wave to turret, they will come back and you are still in lane while they have item advantage, since you have less items you have to recall to buy, and they will shove in to your turret and you will miss a lot of cs.

btw shoving into turret means make the tower kill the wave while you recall, you might have read it as if it means taking the tower.

thats true too but again, it still leaves them open to ganks and such. Im not condoning never pushing wave im just trying to explain why :/

Considering how often I abuse people doing this to break and set-up a freeze (by leaving lane to do a jungle camp while waiting for them to push out), I'd probably recommend against it unless you know they are gone or can easily break a freeze.

Honestly, a proper freeze will often deny the enemy more gold and experience than shoving someone under tower. It can be maintained near indefinitely if done properly and you aren't vulnerable to ganks from overextending.

I have completely starved out enemies by doing this and maintaining a freeze for 4+ minutes at a time (duing which they got no CS without losing half their health or more).

When done correctly, you can really screw over the enemy team. Your opposing laner, unable to farm in lane, will look for gold elsewhere; the will often go to another lane to gank or farm their jungle, taking gold and experience from their allies and in-turn putting them behind their opponents.

You can not trust low elo carries to know how to freeze, they basically never hit a minion unless it's last hit and they end up getting pushed into their tower and miss cs instead.

Also what I was saying in OP was that carries are freezing lane when they are laning against literally no body. enemy mid/top teleported to gank bot, my mid/top keep freezing lane instead of hitting the tower. enemy jungler ganked top, my jungler is dumb enough not to counter jungle their bot side. it just feel very frustrating when this kind if dumb things happen.

My usual call as a top and mid laner. Punish the enemy for leaving the lane. Got alot of lanes won when doing Tristana top.
