I Use To Think Riven Was Just Annoying

I usually do well against Riven whenever I 1v1 her top. But this game I had a "good" "skilled" Riven vs my Gnar Top (I was volibear jg). I decided to camp her top and ruin her game like she probably does to everyone else in every other game. Guess what? I killed her over 5 times during laning whilst she had no kills. I literally did not leave her lane. But here is the fucking bullshit. Almost every kill I got on her was when Gnar had less than 10% health. Now normally I wouldn't have a problem with this IF she had hit Gnar with more than TWO FUCKING SKILLS. She literally Pressed QQ (NEITHER HIT) PRESSES W throws in those bullshit passive AA's and presses Q again. Gnar lost nearly all of his health before I could reach her AND she wasn't even that far away. Pretty soon she got her two items (brutalizer and tiamat) and somehow was two shotting every squishy on the map despite the fact that she was severely behind with less than 2 kills and more than 6 deaths. How can Riot even push this champion past pbe? TL;DR : TIL nothing can stop Riven.

Did your gnar have no armor, or what? Did he not get a ninja tabis? Armor is the best way to shit on Riven, especially since her enhanced autos will do a lot of the damage. And if she runs into the middle of your team with just a brutalizer and tiamat she is very, very squishy. One form of cc and she could be very fucked.

"Skilled Riven"????? There are no skilled rivens below diamond elo. Also next time don't play AP volibear and tell your toplaner to get more than 3 cs per minute and build armor if you want to win 8)

The riven in your game was shit but you're just worse than her. Better make a shitpost on boards for free upvotes instead of trying to improve 8)

Checked the match history, and Gnar was pretty rubbish by the looks of things, he went 2/7, started dorans blade and had half riven's CS by the end. He didn't build any armour whatsoever until the very end of the game, you didn't build any at all. If this Riven was actually good like you say she was, then that fight would have been easy as pie. (and rightly so)

You learned something today, but I always suspected Volibear was shit. A champion that has no way of itemizing for damage and whose tanking mechanic is hp regen is pretty much destined to be terrible.
