Irony With the Mobility Problem
Mobility in it of itself may not violate any of Riot's principle design philosophies. However, when such a profound amount of mobile champions exist in the game, the counter becomes point-and-click hard CC such as
.
Which they don't like being prevalent. But, hey, the amount of complaints caused by mobility is clearly indicative of how fun the designs are, right?
? Oops.
. What I'm saying is, there should be costs to having it, and judging by the threads, I'd say others are starting to agree.
has to use her mobility to farm if pushed in and does a pretty bad job at it (either casters or melees) and she to get in range of you to do so.
Same issue (before he gets Shiv), also his escape is contingent on monsters and minions (and they drop like flies late)
Just look at Zed ult.
You get the idea: all-in and either win or lose ...
Or try to bait the enemy and then dodge around (nothing a little movespeed can't do or some ward coverage can't invalidate)

have terrible scaling
have ults for mobility.
have terribly predictable skill shots.
most would agree that they're either balanced or UP, considering how perfectly you have to play them.
are all hyper carries despite completely lacking mobility. Of course, some of them will never reach that point and they also somewhat share the problems of:

who are all just kind of there.
They're usually good at something that nobody needs and their weaknesses are too abuse-able.
There's also stuff like
who's niche strengths are (currently) good.
