Why am I seeing Yasuos building Trinity now?

Big Lincoln··2 votes·404 views

I don't know where it came from but like halfway through this week Yasuo's gotten more popular and every other time I see him Trinity Force is his first item. The enemy has always gotten fed with this; the ones on my team, not so much.

Is there a reason that it's becoming popular on him? As someone who might want to play him, is it something I want to do?

survivability is the main reason.

the HP+movement buff off phage is really good on yasuo

With the sheen proc as well he also doesn't really lose out on that much damage by taking it over something else

No no no you're all wrong. The reason everyone is buying this on him now is for the extra mana it provides.

provides crit - check enpowered auto - check

it could be that trinity outputs more damage then infinity edge or its more reliable. idk read a yasuo mobafire guide.

I figured it was because he uses most of the stats, but up until now I always assumed he like having both a lot of crit/AS and a lot of AD more than what triforce offered him

Most likely someone did it, it worked and now sheep are following. Kappa. But in all seriousness, it's good item overall for any AD caster. It gives practically everything you could ever want especially for someone like Yasuo, who's going to have a field day with those Sheen procs.

His Q can apply on-hit effects so there's some synergy with sheen. Other than that, i'm not really sure. Free week yasuos will be free week yasuos

It was chosen in LCS, and for a good reason.

Tri+shiv+ie gets exactly 1oo% crits, the stats are great, phage passive ms is almost always up in a fight, sheen procs very often.

It provides alot of stickyness to targets which helps when you're running and gunning them down with Autos and Q's, it also makes you slightly beefier, gives you decent crit, and the sheen passive. It even gives you extra AP for damage on E (E max first IS a thing) There isn't anything on it Yasuo can't use besides the mana

because of his passive, it technically gives him 20% chance, but it's probably the ability to stick to a target that has given it viability...either way, the damage is only "decent"

Combined with IE and Shiv, it gives you 100% crit chance even, so no wasted stats. And lots of very nice passives and durability.
