Can we revert Guinsoos yet?

Just saw a Yi soloing Baron with Warrior, Guinsoo's, and BORK. I stopped him with help, but he would have soloed it with no health lost otherwise. Oh his true damage was also far exceeding his physical damage. In the death recap he had 187 physical damage while the rest was true damage. That said we know the death recap is bad, but I'm pretty sure that despite it saying he did around 1100 overall damage, the percentage of damage was probably right. I'd rather Guinsoo's be niche and not do so much damage and be focused on on-hits than be so ridiculous that anyone who completes it pretty much does a ton of damage.

Just get rid of the Phantom Hit passive and directly buff those that actually need it (IE Hybrid champs like Kayle, Kog, Varus etc). That is what makes the item toxic.

Kayle isn't a problem, nor are Kog/Varus. But yet Yi is able to solo an objective that used to take a full 6 item on hit build plus lifesteal in 3 and a half items, and dealing mostly true damage on top of that. The phantom hit isn't the problem. The extra damage they added onto it is. It just needs to go back to being a niche item.

Revert to which state?

The flat stat state? The AOE state? That one wasn't any better to be honest Do you mean the even older phantom hit state?

The ramping AS, AP, AD with phantom hit that didn't have bonus damage based on their damage numbers.

Explain pls. I would want to know the secret to Guinsos making every champion ,wich doesn´t have on hit items or on hit in their kit, deal tons of damage.
