Olaf's ult buff allows him to completely shut down immobile squishies.

Just finished a game as Fiddlesticks. What would essentially happen is that the very instant Olaf had vision of me, he would ult and charge me down, even if I was with allies, he'd still succeed and killing me. As far as I could tell there was literally nothing I could do about this. You've taken a champion known for his immobility, and given him a massive movement speed steroid to go with his CC immunity. This new ult makes his kit Poppy-lite in terms of toxicity.

its only 1 secound of movement with the loss of his D stats. The one sec of movement did not break him.

You played one game, and are making this conclusion. Not only is that not even close to a representative sample size, I'd like to point something out to you that you're glossing over. Fiddlesticks is as immoble as it gets. His primary dueling ability is a channel, with a fear and a silence as his only options of recourse to give some distance. Olaf, is designed around the concept of "I give no shits about your CC, Imma dive you unless you've got instantaneous terrain."

Olaf and Fiddlesticks are essentially designed as pure counters (though that was probably not the intent back in the day) nonetheless, Olaf should crush Fiddlesticks, and has been doing so since long before his meager buff.

This was worse than a counter, Fiddlesticks is virtually a free kill to Olaf. I tried staying clear of him, but his ult makes him so fast that the instant he has vision of me I'm dead. While it's acceptable that some champions have advantages over others, Olaf can now kill almost any immobile champion he can see.

He has no instant mobility, he has to physically run at you.

Yeah he could use Ghost, but I doubt he would have that up every single fight.

Also his axes don't fly very fast and he has to pick them up to constantly toss them, meaning, run smarter and stay away from the axe in the ground.

You are seriously underestimating how goddamn fast he charges now, the fucker was running Youmuu's, Cleaver, and Zephyr. I could barely react before he was on me and he unpealable when he got there.

The counterplay to Olaf is just kill him faster

He used to present the problems you described, but after his nerfs it's hard for him to both be tanky and deal damage. If he were as unstoppable as you describe, that probably means yall fed the fk out of him

dont compare his ult to poppy hand down poppy ult much harder to deal with olaf can still be killed when he ults plus poppy can go under tower pass teammate and just go who she want with no one to stop her if she ult someone with no cc im just saying not even close

You wanna nerf one of the weakest champs in the game because he's one of the few people alive not instantly cockblocked by fiddlesticks and his targeted long-lasting fear?

In that case, I say we nerf Annie . Every time I walk up to her on my squishy assassin mid, I get stunned and blown up. While we're at it, nerf every champ made in the last 6 months for being nearly impossible to hit with skillshots on my Lux mid. Then let's nerf Soraka . It's complete bull that I dove their carry and then she HEALED THEM and I died to the tower. That's bullcrap. People who keep me from doing what I want to do should be nerfed into the ground.
