Yeah I don't know if you have noticed this or not but every single assassin in the game is mobile. It is one of the defining traits of assassins. And I don't know if you've noticed this either but the assassins who cannot reliably use their assassination pattern get other stuff to compensate for their lack of reliability. Nidalee gets a heal and the ability to poke/siege because she cannot go in on a target anywhere near as often as the majority of the assassin roster, just like Ahri gets hard CC and strong waveclear because she can't assassinate without landing a skillshot and just like Ekko gets... like everything a champion could ever want because all of his abilities have ridiculous delays.
You don't want Nidalee to have a heal or poke? Sure. But in exchange she'll become one of League's assassins who can and will kill a target with very little chance of failure every single time they find one. Personally I prefer playing against assassins who actually have to try to kill me rather than you know, being Akali.
