How about not allowing players on ranked loss streaks to continue queuing for ranked?

If nothing is going to be done to punish individual poor performance, this really needs to happen.

Teams should not lose LP because a player who can very clearly be detected as tilted just queued up again after his 8th consecutive loss. Force them to win a normal before they can continue with ranked.

This bullshit of allowing players like this to continue queuing completely sabotages the entire system.

You recently lost 5 ranked games in a row. Would you be willing to accept a punishment for that?

then how would they play ranked again?

if everyone got removed from being able to play ranked after a set loss streak eventually it would only be a very small portion of the community play ranked. no one could climb

riot will lose money if people can't play ranked

How that shit works?

Elaborate please.

Some people won't play the game if they can't play ranked.

And if they aren't playing the game, they aren't buying skins.

And if they are buying skins, riot is losing money.

Doesn't make any slight sense [slayer-jinx-wink]

maybe it's because you're level twelve, or it's because you're from EUW.

jk, I fucking love you still.

Actually, forcing players to take a break from the game after going on tilt would be doing them a favor, not punishing them. They could go do something else for a while, relax, recharge, and then come back with a fresh attitude. It's a lot more heavy-handed than their current "we'll toss in a load screen tip about taking a few deep breaths" thing that reminds me of Mr. Smithers asking Marge "don't you think you've gambled enough? ...okay; we're required by law to ask every 75 hours," but it could work out.
