How do smurfs hardcarry many games?

Welp, this might be a stupid question but I just don't understand.

Sometimes I see someone in Silver who is doing disgustingly good. Like, won all last 20 ranked matches with scores around 20/1/18 and that sorta things.

Once in a while these people admit they are smurfs from diamond or whatever.

But my question is: HOW? Okay, you have an advantage because your skill level is higher. I get that. But if you don't duo smurf, you still have 4 other people who might be in their right elo or go afk and all that. I get a lot of afk in my team so I assume they experience this too.

How in the hell do they do it? Sometimes I have a really good kda and I'm like 8/1/12 with high vision score but we still lose because some silly find it fun to troll and go 0/9 and therefore feeds the enemy (In worst cases, Darius Fizz or that dangerous type of champs) and then there isn't much we can do.

So how do these manage to win all games even though they might get horrible teammates? Or teammates who disconnect early and never come back?

Because you're not losing because of that teammate. You're losing because you don't understand how to push your lead or use your lead. These players do.

Because there are potentially 5 bad players on the other team

Macro in low elo is unstoppable. That's really it. You can be 17/5 and still lose because you did nothing to take the fucking Nexus quickly when you had all the chances to. Even 5 people cannot be in multiple places at once. That's when you keep lanes pushed, keep the enemy split rezzed and kill towers until you kill that Nexus.

Who would you rather play with? The 17/5 Zed who's team still loses, or the 2/10 Aatrox that managed to teleport at the right time and end the game with Demolish? One gets you the win, the other gets you KDA... which matters more?

The TLDR? Game knowledge = POWER!

The specifics tend to be related to approaching it on a game to game biases and looking for maximum impact you can bring at any given time with context for the match. Compared to many players who copy paste builds and playstyles in an attempt to do the same thing they always do mindlessly.

There's a gap between players with solid mechanics who adapt to individual matches and the ones who just cookie cutter their games.

Step one. Champion select. They know who to pick to counter what has been picked or who to ban that counters them.

Step two. In lane they know how to farm. They know how to and when to slow/fast push or freeze minions. They know how to properly set vision. They know how and when to properly engage. They know skill combinations and are quicker and smoother with the timings. They know when to all in or poke

Step three. Lane lead secured. Roam. They watch the map. Vision! They know where the enemy jungle is. If other enemy laners are missing. They quickly rotate to help the jungle or other lanes. They often gank the ganker. They see the enemy start a rotation and instantly react to counter it. They are the ones that just happen to be at the right place at the right time.

Step four. They secure target. Turrets, dragons, inhib’s and interrupts the enemy from doing so. They tilt the enemy from steps 2 and 3 so they are the ones that afk.

Answer a (not so) simple question, how do you win a game? Or even better, how do you "win" lane? What does winning lane even mean? 99% of people in league of legends have no other goal than to "win the game" or "win my lane". That isn't how you carry games. You need to have a plan and to be flexible with that plan to adapt to how the game plays out.

It's all about champions and counter picking and roles You will often see most of smurfs either playing Jg or ADC or Jax

Postivitiy, or simply not chatting. They never get mad over losing, and they don't mind what other lanes do because they are confident in there own ability to influence the game enough to win.

So many players. OMG ITS CUZ 1 LANE LOST THAT I CANT CLIMB!

For all your lanes to do well into a win... wouldn't that mean that 100% of your team is stronger players? I just don't get the expectation why folks think they will see their teammates do great every game and then freak out tilt and throw because some one lost lane.

Playing from behind, pulling more weight. Why do people think they don't need to learn how to do this? Why expect to climb if you cant impact games unless every single teammates winning?

Is it really that hard to admit that your impacts not standout and might even be subpar if you have to pray for 100% stronger teammates?

Yeah the hard answer is game knowledge.

Pretty much they just make a lot less mistakes, which means the enemy can't do that much to them. Then they put themselves in a position to carry by punishing the enemy non stop and getting fed. Then they use being fed to get their item build together and force down objectives.

Doesn't mean you can't lose a game as diamond in silver, but especially when they aren't at your skill level it's easy to pick apart their mistakes. At silver people are making pretty much a mistake every other second. They just don't know it because no one at that skill level punishes you or challenges you for it.
