That is exactly why it wasn't, "in tandem to the original post". It was a response to someone in the thread who is calling OP a dick for, "wasting everyone's time" which had nothing to do with your response to my post in the full context of my response.
You could, in theory, find people who are just playing for fun from other places. However, the Discord is still being spammed by people who are, "LFG" for specific missions. Meanwhile, players who are playing for fun don't need to attempt to make everyone cater to THEIR way of playing the game. They can just queue up and chillax. People who only want to complete missions should respect that other players may not be trying the same mission or may not be wanting to complete any mission at all. Expect all of the randoms to have random expectations to don't make demands to other players to cater to what YOU want. It is important for newer players playing Onslaught for the first time to not get hammered by four other people when they don't even have the proper augments to complete the desired missions.
What you are saying isn't actually practical. You are just arguing for argument's sake at this point since you just reverse every point without thinking about practicalities. And yes, you can get punished for disconnecting. You were speaking in general terms earlier, don't peddle back to this specific thread when it seemingly benefits your point. And again, I wasn't even addressing the disconnect in my first response to the other guy, so your first response to me was pointless. Conjure up a response that is actually meaningful and I may grace you with my presence. Good luck.
P.S. I am not just trying to piss people off. I don't know where you gathered that from. I was defending someone who got called a dick for "wasting people's time" in a game mode where you can't expect everyone to be on the same mission when you randomly queue up. So, how is defending someone acting like a child? You are no better.... You just jump in and start arguing for argument's sake. It had nothing to do with the point I made in the first place. Attack the points with practical counter points, not petty impractical logistics that don't even touch my first argument in response to the other guy.
