Darius needs a buff or a change to make him healthier before season 5

I do play Darius. The key to beating champions that have range is building straight up armor and sustain. If you're having troubles with an ADC top laner such as Vayne, Quinn, Gnar or Teemo you really just need to itemize defensively and try to catch them off guard with your incredibly high base damages. You will have to try and farm even under their poke and just scurry back to your tower, but it's hardly unbeatable - especially after getting something like a Randuins. Just call for your jungler and watch that pansy ass low HP girl get annihilated and collect the free gold for having them get so damn pushed.

The game that I have played was against a Darius using that build who indeed was split-pushing, but whenever he fought that Darius could literally 100-0 two people in under 2 seconds before finally going down opening up a massive gap in my teams defenses. If you are squishy at all, he has to hit you 3 times and ult - then you are dead. This was just my experience fighting this Darius.

As for when I PLAY Darius I usually like to build myself more tank to make myself indomitable in teamfights. I consider Darius as a sort of teamfight insurance, if the Teamfight is going wrong you can turn it back around with your retarded amounts of damage (True damage ult execute) if the enemy decides to ignore you as a tank. So I take Flash/Ghost or Flash/TP for the flash instant Apprehends and also catching people who are too fast for me to catch up to before they would get away.

Darius IS one of the strongest top laners around right now, and he SHOULD have a decently sized set of counters. As whenever Darius is against anyone melee all he needs to do is land his Q's and he should have instant lane control unless they have very large sustain. Even in that case, unless you run out of mana I find I can get the enemy low and zoned before it ever comes to that. It's incredibly hard to out-trade Darius in a straight up fight if he continues to land his abilities.

I don't know what rank you are, but I am unranked that usually plays against alot of silvers and golds. I just try to do my best and I honestly don't feel that Darius needs a buff of any kind. If you have ideas for some tuning could you please let me know what they are? I am not trying to deny you or prove what you're saying is wrong, but I am merely trying to understand this more from your point of view. We could help each-other become even stronger Darius players, and discuss with open minds what Darius has to offer for a team in comparison to his competition.

Why do you think he needs a buff so badly? Is it because he is easy to kite and keep away?
