anyone try gunblade varus?

now that gunblade heals on all source of dmg it works with his Blighted Quiver

thats pretty good damage to heal off of.

sure you don't have armor pen but you heal alot and you have magic damage so stacking armor wont help them. you can poke non stop. I'd rather have over since it applies w and rageblade and helps with healing + wave clear to save mana for fights.

only thing is my build uses 2 cdr quints so many early game is a bit weak but pick ups really fast once i have .

ghostblade helps you reach max stacks on rageblade as well. since slower as ranged also gives cdr and ms if you need to run.

Or take Death's Dance which heals on physical damage, which Varus does a lot (includes arrows) grants a lot of AD, which Varus loves, and CDR?

You can always go for hybrid Varus, but when you know Kog'maw exists, you'll just be a weaker version of him

I find Varus way more fun to play then KogMaw so i wouldn't mind playing the weaker version if i'm enjoying it. In ranked i wouldn't mess around with rageblade varus but on normals you better believe i'm gonna play whatever silly fun thing that i want to try.

That's the build I see my friend who plays Varus use. This gives 40% CDR, tons of bonus AD, and some AP for his W, which has pretty decent scaling with just 80 AP, giving about 5% extra health damage at 3 stacks. Also gives 10% healing on his Q, E, and R as well as 15% life steal.
